PSA for #Seattle area locals who have accounts at #BECU: I just got a notice from them saying they're updating their terms of service to enforce an arbitration clause. They are providing a mechanism to opt out of this, but they're expressly saying that if you don't do this by June 20, 2023, they will enforce this clause on you.

I STRONGLY URGE YOU TO LOOK FOR THIS NOTICE IN YOUR EMAIL and respond accordingly. Subject line is "An Important Notice About Your BECU Accounts".

I just got a letter from my credit union. Given the timing, my reaction was "I am so glad to be at a credit union."

#BECU is refunding all NSF (overdraft) fees they charged members in _the last three years_.
