I can't see the participants on the confirmation page. Initially it showed that a few people had already registered, but now it only displays menus and other page elements with a blank space where the participants should be. I am using elementary OS, with Web and Vivaldi browsers. It happens both in regular and private/incognito mode. I tried adjusting the settings but I can't figure it out.

Colt's really not doing well at all lately. She tells me she's been crying from being in pain during the day and she's got no money to get anything for relieving the pain. She reports also that she and her husband recently got defrauded out of $400 through some kind of scam or other. Is it all possible for my friend to raise some emergency funds today?

What's the maximum number of onboarding screens I should have in my app?

It's a local static website builder / markdown-based blogging CMS. Right now I have two value props + one screen to give their first project an internal name and website type (blog, portfolio, etc).

This reminds me that we've been working with a "vocational counselor" from the same community mental-health agency that we go to for regular therapy, and we've been painstakingly trying to get past our tedious traumatic aversions to going through the whole job-seeking rigmarole again. It's not seemly to avoid it, but we're haunted by a childish reflex against trying anything that's been repeatedly painful. Trying to sell ourselves to employers is painful, because it feels like lying: we're trying to "fake it till we make it" in terms of present ourselves as fit for job postings, but attempting to do so without any actual self-confidence.

It'd be nice to help my friends more directly, you know? But instead I must see what I can raise through begposting.

I need an app designed for people who have zero knowledge, skill or talent for cooking (me, that people is me) - I want one that gives flavour balancing suggestions. Like I could select a couple of ingredients I have and the app would then suggest other ingredients that would go well with those flavours. And preferably let me favourite ingredients I love and exclude ones I hate (or can’t eat for medical reasons).

Is that a thing?
