@j12t Yes it is, but I don't think the ecosystem is where I'd like it to be yet. I'm not actively working on it right now, but I was building something that I would like to see doing this.
Then there's stuff like #mobilizon for example that fit the theme but aren't being used in any communities I'm currently part of.

I started listening to some of the recorded FOSDEM talks. Today I listened to one about Mobilizon, https://video.fosdem.org/2025/ud2208/fosdem-2025-4381-mobilizon-decentralizing-event-management-for-a-privacy-respecting-social-web.av1.webm . I knew it is being used for organizing protests, but I didn't really appreciate the potential. I'm thinking it could be useful for family and neighborhood events. It's exciting!
