🧠 I love the orange columns here against the cream on the old Ascot Cinema on Great Western Road.

⭐I think the colouring looks good - including the green accent that hopefully doesn't distract too much.

➡️ I'm sure there's more I could do to make it more sleek looking.

📽️ The Grand, Southport. Now a beautiful restaurant and cocktail bar. I explored the site before the renovations, when it had stood abandoned for around 20 years.

Originally built as a 1920s vehicle showroom, it was transformed in the 1930s into a lavish cinema. It then operated as a bingo hall and later a casino, but this closed in the 2000s.

❤️‍🔥Going out in Art Deco style! This 1920s crematorium in Romania has bold geometric design, picked out by black tiles set against white surrounding tiles. The overall design inspired by the Art Deco movement of the time: clean lines, geometric forms, and a sense of grandeur.
