An abandoned 1920s swimming pool and bath house, somewhere in England⁠ 🏊‍♀️

This Art Deco building was once a bustling community hub, where the “unwashed masses” came to socialise as much as bathe.

Inside are the original two swimming pools, one for men and one for women. In the 1950s, other facilities including a sauna were added.

It closed 10 years ago due to disrepair and rising maintenance costs.

Cette coiffeuse Art déco de 1939 a tout d’un petit autel dédié au glamour 💄✨
Lignes géométriques, formes arrondies, miroir imposant, détails raffinés : on imagine les gestes lents, le parfum, le rouge à lèvres et la radio grésillante en arrière-plan.
Un meuble qui ne servait pas qu’à se préparer, mais à se sentir un peu star de cinéma. 🎬
