On a walk around the cemetery, I found a tree that fell over. A handsome brute! This stonky fella has been around since the industrial revolution. The authorities don't cut down stonkers unless they're a danger to life, so I'm guessing it was sick.
I tried taking a chonk home for a rustic, natural seat in the garden. Alas, 'twas much heft.
Someone tried to fight a tree with their car.
The tree won.
Good. Soon the wound will heal.
I'm sure The #worldbollard peeps will have thoughts on this.
#fruitiers #arborology #tailledouce #taille #jardin #vergerCanopy shyness, or inter-crown spacing, is a beautiful phenomenon in arborology. Theories for this behaviour range from reducing the range of leaf-munching larvae to resource management.
This happens most often between organisms of the same species but it's not rare for differing species to exhibit this action too.

It's been chopped up! I'm guessing it was causing path-related problems and someone came along with tools and when to town on it.
I wish I could carry some slabs away. I'd like to attempt making furniture out of all this primo wood.
I got tired studying truck stuff. Am I getting a master's in trucking design or something? Uuggh
So, I started reading about #arborology and I got my daily #nerdgasm by reading about Socotra Island, a remote land in the #Yemen.
30% of the bio stuffs here don't grow anywhere else. And that stuff looks like an alien planet out of #Dune.
Have a look around and see what you think.
An #arborology wet dream. So many species so untouched by #hoomins.
I think it is most important for you to know I am ill.
Years of homelessness, now in a half-way house which is high octane to say the least, I'm training in #horticulture generally and #arborology specifically, and I've just passed my #HGV #lorry truck license.
I think...maybe... possibly...I'm getting back on my feet.
So why must I be ill?! Bitch got shit to do!
