Today, I went for a 2 mile walk to think about making a new slide deck for pitching my project to potential sponsors. Walked past a phenomenally phat Japanese Pagoda tree in the park, one that my 5yo is fond of, and considered taking a picture of it but decided to let my experience of the tree remain in that moment. And that, my fedi-friends, is all you get from me for #ThickTrunkTuesday

For #ThickTrunkTuesday I wanted to share this picture of this old and twisted #LiveOak Tree I saw yesterday at the Audubon Zoo in #NewOrleans #Louisiana. In spite of its gnarly appearance, this tree is well cared for, and even has a lightning arrestor system installed on it that grounds it to the earth using metal wires. Never saw that before on a tree…
