My kid picked up a used copy of the PS4 game Anthem not realizing it was a pseudo-MMO that is set to be shutdown in January 2026. It's sad because he's been enjoying it. It's reminiscent of a Halo-style shooter gameplay, kind of repetitive but for a kid not focused on story and not familiar with much of the FPS genre, it's a good romp.

Most of this game can be played through solo, so I'm wondering why they didn't patch in an offline mode.

OK, #TheFirstDescendant ist also eine Mischung aus #OutridersGame und #AnthemGame, aber mit dem Fortschritt-System von #Warframe?

Habe mal einen Charakter (Ajax) bis Level 10 gespielt und kann sagen: Ist nett. Knallt noch nicht so ganz (recht generische Missionen usw.), aber ich bin gespannt. Hat durchaus Potenzial.

I'm still baffled as to why gamers gave the MTX shop in Anthem any grief when you could buy EVERYTHING with in game currency as well. It just took a bit longer than spending cash. #AnthemGame

When Anthem comes up its almost always the flight and combat.

I'm gonna point out to the INSANELY good sound design.
Iconic SFX's, the music fit perfectly, weapons sounded like they had weight. Lightning, storms, the crazy bass of the ferrofluid stuff and of course #AnthemGame
