Do I track your submissions? If so, why or why not?
I track my submissions using a spreadsheet, and try to get them back out when/if they're rejected.
I also try to keep the updated/inputed at the submissions grinder, but I'm less good at that. Sharing info on the grinder helps the community at large keep track of how long various markets are taking to respond, which helps people decide where to submit. So use the grinder if you can , please.

Have I ever sent a snail mail submission to a magazine or publisher?
I came *really* late to writing, so I never submitted to a magazine via snail mail, but I did submit my Odyssey application via snail mail. Overnight. And it got lost. I had to jump through some spectacular hoops and beg for exceptions as we waited for it to arrive . . .
