Spent the morning making tassels so i can finally get these darned bookmarks listed
November's #mailArt for supporters was a hand painted, mushroomy #linoprint!
this one was especially fun to design, print, and then hand paint!

not quite happy with how these came out - these are the best of the batch.
I usually make small prints, so not has this problem before, but the water based ink seemed to be drying too quickly.
I think i need to try the oil based ink next time, or add some drying retarder, I have some, but forgot to add any this time.
Done carving!
Now to give it a wash, then hopefully making prints tomorrow

I'm going to be making the plunge to printing on fabric to make my family some t-shirts.
this meas I'll also be able to make things to sell like bags and patches.
what kinds of fabrics do people prefer for printed patches?
starting to get ideas for block prints that would make good shirts (& maybe bags?)
but getting a bit nervous. if you screw up a t-shirt you can't just throw it away like a piece of paper.
any advice from experienced printers?

block printed bookmarks, some with watercolor backgrounds., others on card stock.
