Sie hilft mir die Welt zu verstehen. Und Position zu beziehen. Denkanstoß, Protest, Diskussionsbeitrag, Zustimmung, Aufruf, Statement und Therapie (fuck cancer). Kunst ist für mich ein Multi Tool. Immer ernst zu nehmen.

What is art? For me?
It helps me understand the world. And take a position. Stimulates thought, protest, adds to discussion, expresses agreement, issues a call to action, makes a statement, and is therapeutic (fuck cancer). For me, art is a multi-tool. Always to be taken seriously.

National holiday, yay! Time to get some carving done. Showed my little sibling the hobby of carving stamps last week and they were so hooked that they bought everything they needed to start and on Tuesday we both were carving like maniacs then ☺️ that’s when I made these stamps.

I’m working on a whole Alice in Wonderland linoprint series and have the goal to complete at least two stamps today. Let’s hope I can get it done! These are test prints of the Cheshire Cat and the white rabbit. Working on the Caterpillar today and… not sure yet about the next stamp. These are all made to fit 3,5 x 2,5” cards ( #ArtistTradingCards).
