Kati getting a route in Akiba's Trip 2 finally is sort of like the Fairy Fencer F updated rerelease that actually made whether you freed the Goddess or the Dark God affect the story instead of just unlocking a bonus boss insofar as "Yeah, it was kinda obvious you'd *wanted* to do that before but couldn't for some reason."

So the interesting coincidence of me watching Akiba's Trip and White Album 2 in such close proximity to each other is that both make reference to the concept of the "Band-Crusher", a Girl who joins a band but then causes it to break up by flirting with all the Boys.

This is a Misogynist trope that famously entered Pop Culture because of Americans being rather Sexist and Racist towards a Japanese Immigrant. so the fact that it's been embraced in Japan itself is rather tragically ironic.

Now I defense of both these individual shows I suspect they're referencing it ironically.
