@glent
Just posted in a thread about how #AHPRA is doing its regular investigations into complaints it receives.

No confidence at all that AHPRA would have been any sort if obstacle to these apparent very serious assaults of patients.

@3TomatoesShort

Senior #AHPRA need to explain the huge gap between community (and professional) expectations of rigorous investigation and the "wet paper bag" investigations that AHPRA is delivering.

Good looking bios.

'Your word against his': Women's complaints against surgeon dismissed by regulator

Australia's medical regulator, AHPRA, faces criticism for failing to act on complaints from patients about surgeries by Melbourne gynaecologist Simon Gordon.

#AHPRA is a real tiger when it comes to small details in CPD requirements.

Owning a strip joint which is so mismanaged that 145 years of imprisonment results ... there they're not so active.

Serial rapist trusted by Australian doctor to run strip club jailed for 145 years

Julian de Looze, a clinical director at Australia's biggest hospital, bought a strip club in Portland at the suggestion of a friend.  He did not know that friend was a serial rapist who used the venue to prey on women.

Having an interaction with what appears to be #CommercializedMedicine.

Can't I just go to the doctors and get something looked at without having to look up the #AHPRA complaint flow chart?

Staying general, it seems unreasonable that a proctologist wouldn't routinely look at your anus, and a gynecologist wouldn't routinely look at your vagina, when they're doing a checkup.

Guess which doctors may not routinely be looking behind underpants. 🙄

#AustralianHealthPractitionerRegulationAgency

@mackayim2022 for example this quote. “I resigned because I could not follow AHPRA’s mandated compliance with the narrative that the #COVIDvaccine is necessary safe and effective… #AHPRA needs to be bought under federal law so it cannot force health professionals to practice unsafely.”

What a load of nonsense yet here’s the #COVIDenquiry quoting it 🤦‍♂️

I am increasingly disappointed with this report.

@MnlyBeach
Did #ElmerDobak have a regular doctor, a #GP?

If so was the GP confident that Dobak could drive without being a danger to himself or others?

What is #SouthAustralia's law around this?
What does #AHPRA Australian HealthProfessionals Regulation Agency have to say?
Are they just a #PaperTiger?
What about the SA #MedicalRegistrationBoard?
And the so-often-eager-for-publicity #AustralianMedicalAssociation?
Are they only keen on saving lives when convenient?
Much not in the ABC article.

For those Kiwis and Kiwi-wanna-be's scraping by in West New Zealand, the parallel web booking software here is called #HealthEngine.

It has already messed up. But continues in business due to the locals' other-worldliness.
If my priorities were otherwise I'd consider a complaint to #AHPRA
