Congo Tales is a photo series book featuring local Congolese people acting out images from their folklore.

The book contains the photography of Pieter Henket, and was edited by Eva Vonk and Stefanie Plattner. The Congolese mythology was adapted by Congolese philosopher S. R. Kovo N'Sondé and author Wilfried N'Sondé.

Congo Tales is part of a larger campaign - Tales of Us - an ongoing multimedia project that hopes to remind us on the urgency of protecting the world’s vulnerable ecosystems and the people for whom they are home by telling their stories in a new and exciting way.
