Al-Quds Brigades publish a statement by the late Abu Hamza on Quds day

Al-Quds Brigades published a pre-recorded speech by the late spokesperson of the PIJ’s military wing, Abu Hamza, during the commemoration of al-Quds Day on Friday.

In the speech, the martyr Abu Hamza affirmed “commitment to the path of resistance and armed struggle until liberation,” pointing out that the military and war course in “Al-Aqsa Flood will inevitably lay the foundation for the demise” of the Israeli occupation entity.

He goes on to say, “We are witnessing a remarkable achievement and an unparalleled display of resilience in the ‘Al-Aqsa Flood’ battle, which has dealt a severe blow to the Zionist agenda,” adding that “an axis was formed to face the Western-Zionist project, that is the axis of resistance from Palestine to Lebanon to Yemen to Iran and Iraq.”

He also called for an end to normalization with the occupation and the complete severance of ties with it. Emphasizing the need for Islamic unity, he urged support for the Palestinian people and their resistance while strengthening their resilience.

He explained that the establishment of the Zionist entity in Palestine was a clear extension of oppressive colonialism aimed at preventing any unity in the Arab and Islamic worlds.

Abu Hamza’s speech emphasized that Yemen’s presence  marked a difference in Operation al-Aqsa Flood while noting that the popular marches in al-Sabe’en Square “served as a strong motivation for the Yemeni Armed Forces to continue and persist with determination and resolve.”

The Al-Quds Brigades spokesperson saluted the leader of Ansar Allah, Sayyed Abdul-Malik al-Houthi, adding that the Palestinian Resistance was listening carefully to his speeches regarding the battle in Gaza.

PIJ mourns Abu Hamza

On March 18, the Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) movement mourned the loss of Naji Abu Seif, also known by his nom de guerre Abu Hamza, a commander and spokesperson for its military wing. He was killed in a Zionist assassination along with his family and his brother’s family.

In a statement released by the Palestinian Resistance movement, Abu Hamza, the spokesperson for the al-Quds Brigades, was honored as “a voice of the Resistance, fearing no reproach in his devotion to God, eloquent in his speech, and courageous in his heroic positions in defense of the Resistance and the rights of our people, never wavering in his stance.”

The statement also denounced the “treacherous, spiteful assassination, carried out by the Nazi Zionist criminal entity,” describing it as part of a series of brutal massacres against the Palestinian people, including women and children, and ultimately backed by the United States.

“While the world stands in cowardly silence, [we] will only strengthen our determination to continue defending our people and their rights until the goals of this aggression are completely thwarted,” the PIJ concluded.

Abu Hamza: The Palestinian Hero and Hollywood Myths

Hollywood, backed by the United States, has always tried to craft the image of the invincible “superhero” through characters like Superman, Batman, and Captain America—figures meant to embody absolute power, protecting the world and saving the innocent.

In these films, the hero appears masked, possessing superhuman abilities, fighting “evil” in the name of justice. But what Hollywood never tells us is that this “hero” is part of a propaganda machine designed to promote America’s image as a force of absolute good, even as it arms and supports the occupation in killing innocent people.

In contrast, through the lens of reality, “Abu Hamza,” the spokesperson for Saraya Al-Quds, or the martyr Naji Abu Seif, emerged. After the mask was lifted, he appeared as a genuine Palestinian fighter, without cinematic effects or as a super-powered being, but with a determination stronger than fiction.

When the mask came off after his martyrdom, it did not reveal the face of a mythical hero manufactured in film studios. Instead, it was the face of a simple young man who lived among his people, fought for them, and was martyred carrying the cause of his homeland.

Similarly, Abu Obeida, spokesperson for Al-Qassam—and in fact all factions— appeared masked in such a way that, according to polls, their appearance carried a strength, anticipation, and breath-holding power greater than field operations. Indeed, a word from the masked man [Al-Mulatham] proved stronger than rockets.

For years, Western media has portrayed the Palestinian fighter as nothing more than a “terrorist” or an “outlaw,” while depicting the American or “israeli” soldier as a hero fighting for “freedom.” Yet the Palestinian has proven himself to be the rightful owner of the land and the true narrative. In contrast, their so-called heroes—products of paper and drama—have been exposed as cowards, oppressors, and enablers of crimes against humanity.

The reality was different when Abu Hamza’s face was revealed; it did not match the stereotypical image that had been imprinted in people’s minds. He was an ordinary young man with calm features—someone who could have been someone you know: a neighbor, a friend, a brother. But he chose the path of resistance, becoming the voice of the voiceless.

How many people imagined that behind the mask was a massive warrior with fierce features and a piercing gaze, as American action films portray their heroes? How many viewers assumed that a Palestinian fighter must be an emotionless beast? But when his face was unveiled, we saw eyes carrying the story of a captive defying his jailer, a heart beating with humanity for his people and comrades, and a gentle smile reminding the world that true heroes do not need superpowers to be immortalized in history.

As always, “israel” believes that by killing a person, it can end his cause. Yet it has not understood that Abu Hamza’s voice will not disappear. Instead, it will echo in the generations to come, carrying his cause forward. His voice was not merely a “military statement”—it was the heartbeat of the resistance, a symbol of the ordinary man who became a genuine legend, not because he possessed superpowers, but because he held faith and resilience in the face of the occupation.

Unlike Hollywood, where heroes are designed in script rooms and brought to life by actors on camera, Abu Hamza emerged from the battlefield itself—from the streets and alleys of Gaza, from the rubble of destroyed homes. He needed no super suit or extraordinary abilities—only an unbreakable will and steadfast determination that made him a symbol of Palestinian resistance.

If “Superman” was created as a model of American power, then Abu Hamza was the embodiment of the strength of the ordinary Palestinian, who does not need visual effects or fictional narratives to forge his legacy.

He was real in every sense of the word—fighting on the ground, protecting his people, and speaking to the world with a voice that “israel” could not silence, even after his martyrdom.

In the end, Abu Hamza will not just be another name on the list of Palestinian martyrs. He will remain a timeless symbol, inspiring future generations and reminding the world of the truth of this struggle. The mask may have fallen, but the man did not, nor did his cause.

If the occupation believes it can end the story by assassinating him, it has yet to realize that true stories do not end with death—they begin with it. This figure’s symbolism lies in its survival and permanence, just as the artist Naji Al-Ali has become a model.

Today, Palestinians lift their masks to tell the world: “We are not cinematic characters. We are not superheroes born in Hollywood studios. This is our real life, this is our struggle, and this is our strength in the face of occupation.”

Has “israel” understood the message?

Abu Hamza will reappear once again—not with visual or sound effects—but he himself, with his own voice, his own eyes, his real mask, and a black headband embroidered with “Saraya Al-Quds,” his right hand waving with a powerful promise. At that moment, the truth will be undeniable: the schools of history have written the Palestinian to remain standing tall with honor despite all attempts at erasure.

No matter how hard the occupation may try to erase the face, it forgets that the Palestinian lineage is deeply rooted and ever-extending, and that the Palestinian womb gives birth only to heroes.

At that moment, rub your eyes well and be certain: heroism is originally, linguistically Palestinian.

Your sun will never set, Abu Hamza

Among the hundreds of civilians killed this week in Gaza a small number of Gaza's resistance were martyred.

Abu Hamza, legal name Naji Abu Saif, spokesperson for Palestinian Islamic Jihad was killed along side his wife.

I'm fairly certain the US would call it terrorism if an official spokesperson were targeted by bombs by an adversary. But here we are, back to Israel killing doctors journos and spokes people.

Martyr Abu Ali Mustafa Brigades Mourns PIJ Spokesman Abu Hamza

A pledge that through the days, you shall not be defeated… For victory grows where it is watered by blood.

The Martyr Abu Ali Mustafa Brigades mourn the military spokesperson of the Saraya Al-Quds, the martyr leader Naji Abu Seif (Abu Hamza).

With great pride, dignity, and honor, the Martyr Abu Ali Mustafa Brigades, the military wing of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine, mourn the martyr leader Naji Abu Seif “Abu Hamza,” who was the military spokesperson for the Saraya Al-Quds, the military arm of the Islamic Jihad Movement. He was martyred in a cowardly assassination carried out by the treacherous and terrorist zionist aircraft today, Tuesday, March 18, 2025.

The martyr leader “Abu Hamza” left his mark in the field of military media resistance work, and his presence instilled fear and terror in the crumbling occupation entity. He was a model of the resistant fighter, not the compromising one, always at the front lines of confrontation. Despite the immense pain of losing “Abu Hamza,” who never submitted, we confirm that this loss will only increase our determination and steadfastness to continue on the path of the martyrs in the struggle and fight until the last drop of blood for full and complete liberation, the expulsion of the occupation from all of our Palestinian land, the restoration of our people’s stolen rights, the recovery of the occupied Arab lands, and the avenging of the blood of our martyrs and leaders.

Therefore, we, in the Martyr Abu Ali Mustafa Brigades, extend our condolences to the family of the martyr leader Naji Abu Seif “Abu Hamza,” the military spokesperson of the Saraya Al-Quds, and to his relatives for his martyrdom and the martyrdom of several members of his family in this treacherous targeting.

We also extend our condolences to our people, the Arab nation, and all the free people of the world, in general, and to our comrades and brothers in blood, struggle, and unity of fate in the Islamic Jihad Movement and its military wing, the Saraya Al-Quds, including the leadership, cadres, and fighters. We salute the spirit of the leader “Abu Hamza” and the spirits of those who illuminated the path of freedom and independence with their blood, on the path of honor, the path of Al-Quds and Palestine. We salute all those still holding the trigger, pressing on until freedom is achieved and the occupation is driven out.

Our pledge is an eternal revenge that will never fade.
Glory to the martyrs, freedom to the prisoners, and recovery to the wounded.
The fog will soon lift from the hills… and indeed, we will certainly be victorious.

when will it be enough? do they really want to just rule over the ashes just to say they are in charge and enslaver of the earth?

...all they can even imagine is deep depravity, perversion of all, and the butchering of children and people who dare stand in defense of innocent humanity against them...

In an extremely embarrassing development for Israel Hussein Fayyad(aka Abu Hamza), commander of the Al-Qassam Brigade's Beit Hanoun battalion, was seen alive and well in Gaza giving a speech on Wednesday at a funeral.

The Israelis had believed and widely reported they killed Abu Hamza in May of last year so this is a shocking turn of events.

In his remarks Hamza spoke about the meaning of victory and describes the current situation as a defeat of the IOF.
