Palestine factions said the region is witnessing what they termed as an existential war triggered by the leadership of the zionist regime, particularly Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

They stressed that his statements amount to a declaration of open aggression against Muslims and argued that this reflects the entity’s broader objective of asserting control and dominance across the region.

The movement called on “the Arab and Islamic nation to unite and maintain cohesion in order to thwart the objectives of this comprehensive aggression, in defense of our land, our holy sites, and the future of our generations.”

The Peace Council meeting was a theatrical performance that has no relation to what is happening on the ground in terms of killing and destruction, which did not stop even during the performance itself.

The reality is that Trump has decided to collect billions of dollars on the back of destroyed Gaza, not for its reconstruction or relief, but to control its future and the future of Palestine and the region.

Escalation in Gaza: Al-Quds Brigades Commander Sami al-Dahdouh Martyred in Tel al-Hawa Strike

Al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Jihad Movement, announced the martyrdom of commander Sami al-Dahdouh following an airstrike that targeted a group of civilians in the Tel al-Hawa neighborhood of Gaza City in the northern Gaza Strip. Residents of the city gathered for his funeral this afternoon. Several other civilians were also wounded in the attack.

This comes after medical sources in the Gaza Strip reported the martyrdom of ten Palestinians since dawn today as a result of airstrikes and artillery shelling by the Israeli occupation army in Khan Younis in the south and the al-Falouja area of Jabalia refugee camp in the northern Gaza Strip.

Al-Manar correspondent in Gaza also reported the martyrdom of one civilian and the wounding of several others in a drone strike on Beit Lahia in northern Gaza.

Al-Qassam and Axis of Resistance Hail Iran’s Revolution, Support and Remain United Against Imperialism

The spokesperson for the al-Qassam Brigades, Abu Obeida, reaffirmed on Wednesday the movement’s full solidarity with Iran, warning that any aggression targeting the Islamic Republic would be considered an attack on the entire Islamic nation and Palestine.

In a statement issued on the anniversary of the Islamic Revolution in Iran, Abu Obeida said that the threats and hostilities facing Iran are a direct retaliation against its leadership and people for their unwavering support of the Palestinian resistance.

Such actions, he added, are a criminal assault on the sovereignty of a resisting Islamic state and a form of coercive interference aimed at imposing realities through force.

Confidence in Iran’s military capabilities

Abu Obeida expressed full confidence in the Iranian Armed Forces and the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), highlighting their performance in the True Promise 3 battle in June 2025, during which they “taught the Zionist enemy harsh lessons.”

He said Iran retains the capacity to repel aggression and strike back forcefully in defense of its sovereignty and regional role.

Retaliation for support of Palestine

He stressed that the ongoing threats, economic blockade, and military attacks on Iran are part of a desperate attempt to punish Tehran for its open and consistent support for the Palestinian people.

Abu Obeida praised Iran’s backing of the resistance, especially during Al-Aqsa Flood, which he stressed was a turning point that shattered the Zionist entity’s prestige and thwarted all of its declared objectives.

Abu Obeida concluded by reaffirming that the Axis of Resistance remains unified, and that Iran’s strength reinforces the Palestinian struggle in its ongoing confrontation with the occupation.

Earlier today, top Iranian official Ali Larijani met with the Hamas leadership in Qatar, where he reaffirmed that Iran will always champion the Palestinian cause.

On the 47th anniversary of the victorious Islamic Revolution in Iran, we extend our greetings, congratulations, and sincere blessings to the Iranian people and their struggling leadership, headed by the Guide and Leader of the Revolution, Mr. Ali Khamenei. This revolution changed the course of history, overthrew the regime of tyranny and oppression, and established an independent Islamic state that does not submit to the dominance of arrogant powers and global hegemony.

The Islamic Republic has become a solid regional power that has imposed its position in all arenas and confirmed its presence as a fundamental pillar in regional equations, breaking the arrogance of the Zionist entity and humiliating it in the three operations of Al-Waad Al-Sadiq.

Zionist Regime Approves Plans to Annex West Bank

The zionist cabinet has approved a series of measures aimed at accelerating the annexation of the West Bank and expanding zionist settlement. These decisions include the publication of land registries to facilitate land seizures and the abolition of restrictions on land purchases by zionist occupiers in the region.

Furthermore, the occupation has transferred building licensing authority from the Palestinian municipality of Al-Khalil to the occupying Civil Administration, specifically targeting the area around the Ibrahimi Mosque and other sites. The cabinet also authorized the expansion of occupation enforcement into Areas A and B and the renewal of the “Land Purchase Committee” to proactively secure land for settlement.

Resistance factions released statements.

Hamas spokesperson Hazem Qassem responded to the decisions, stating that the extremist “israeli” government seeks to expand its genocidal war and eliminate the Palestinian presence on their land. He described the policy as a colonialist move that poses an existential threat to the rights of the Palestinian people.

The Resistance Committees in Palestine called the decisions a practical annexation and a direct threat to the Palestinian presence.  They considered them a declaration of war aimed at entrenching the zionist occupation, calling on Palestinians everywhere to escalate resistance.

The Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) movement states that the latest decisions by the occupation government’s cabinet are a clear attempt to re-engineer the West Bank. This project aims to displace our people, uproot them, and expand the grip of the occupation through a silent legal annexation process.

The movement emphasizes that these decisions constitute a full-fledged ethnic cleansing process occurring while the world turns a blind eye. PIJ holds the US administration and international community responsible for the ongoing crimes and the failure of relying on negotiations. These projects call for a unified Palestinian position supporting the Resistance to defend the land and topple the zionist plans.

The PFLP stated, “The ‘israeli’ cabinet’s approval of ‘effective annexation’ of the occupied West Bank represents a radical shift in zionist criminality and a declaration of comprehensive war on the Palestinian existence.

This move effectively ends the ‘Oslo’ stage and reveals a zionist plan to impose complete security and administrative guardianship, turning Palestinian cities and villages into ethnic enclaves.

The PFLP calls on all national and Islamic forces to unite immediately behind a unified national struggle strategy, ending all commitments to the ‘israeli’ entity and adopting comprehensive Resistance as the only way to respond to this liquidation plan and protect historical rights to the land.”

Palestinian Resistance Factions Condemn the Escalating Ceasefire Violations of the and the Targeting of the Sheikh Radwan Station

Palestinian Resistance factions issued statements denouncing the wave of zionist airstrikes on security stations and displacement tents. The attacks resulted in 31 martyrs so far, a flagrant attempt to sabotage the ceasefire and evade the obligations of its second phase.

Hamas stated that four months after the signing, the occupation continues its war of genocide, proving its disregard for the mediators. They called on the guarantors to immediately intervene to stop the undermining of the agreement.

PIJ described the escalation as a calculated effort to “impose security realities” on the ground to avoid the commitments of the second phase. They accused the U.S. of shielding war criminals from prosecution, encouraging them to violate all human norms.

PFLP warned that targeting police infrastructure is an attempt to “disrupt the work of the Administrative Committee.” The Front demanded international bodies move beyond “concern” to impose “comprehensive isolation” on the entity. They reiterated that the fascism of the occupation reach the point where silence is no longer an option.

DFLP warned that the massacres threaten the fate of “Trump’s plan and UN Security Council Resolution 2803.” They noted that after retrieving its prisoners, the occupation is acting as if it has a “free hand” to spill blood. Uniquely, the DFLP called for the deployment of “stability forces” on the separation lines.

The Popular Resistance Committees described the so-called “Peace Council” as a “false witness” used to whitewash Netanyahu’s crimes. They asserted the aggression is aimed squarely at thwarting the transition to the agreement’s second phase.

The Ahrar Movement stated that targeting the police is a deliberate attempt to aid “collaborators, gangs, and thieves” by destroying field control and engineering a “security collapse.”

The Mujahideen Movement condemned the “fascist government’s” insistence on destroying the ceasefire and held the U.S. responsible for providing the cover to do so.

Palestinian Resistance Ambushes Collaborators, Denounce “Peace” Council

A senior source in the Palestinian Deterrent force released an urgent statement today in regards to the security situation in Gaza. The statement read, “During a well-planned security operation, we lured members of the collaborator gangs into a pre-prepared ambush. The operation resulted in the killing of one collaborator and the injury of two others, before they fled towards the areas controlled by the occupation. We confirm our continued pursuit, tracking, and dismantling of the collaborator gangs supported by the occupation, and our zero tolerance for any threat to the security of our people.” The Palestinian Resistance has consistently been targeting collaborators who helped the occupation in its genocide.

The Palestinian Information Center, in other news, has documented 27 acts of resistance across the occupied West Bank within a 48-hour period, ranging from confrontations with Zionist occupation forces to efforts repelling settler attacks.

This comes as Zionist minister Itamar Ben-Gvir has approved the extension of personal firearm permits to  settlers across 18 additional illegal settlements in the occupied West Bank, further encouraging violence against Palestinians and advancing plots for settler militarization.

Ben-Gvir’s expansion of gun access, including to unauthorized settlers, began in late 2023 with the start of the genocide in Gaza. Although the policy was condemned following reports of growing civilian casualties, including among settlers, it was never stopped.

Since October 2023, armed settler attacks on Palestinian communities have surged, often accompanied by occupation forces. These coordinated assaults have destroyed property, including the burning of homes and vehicles, and caused dozens of injuries.

According to the report, the incidents included clashes in 15 areas, 8 confrontations with settlers, damage to 3 settler vehicles, and the use of stones, Molotov cocktails, and firecrackers, resulting in injuries to two settlers.

In al-Quds, confrontations erupted in the Qalandia refugee camp, where residents hurled stones and firecrackers at occupation forces.

In the Ramallah governorate, clashes were reported in Turmus Ayya and Al-Mughayyir, with local residents responding to settler incursions near the illegal “Ofra” settlement. Several settler vehicles were damaged in the confrontations.

The Nablus area saw widespread resistance in Qusra, Yatma, Burqa, and Jalud, where settlers attempted to storm Palestinian villages. Residents responded with stones and firecrackers, damaging vehicles used in the attacks.

In Salfit, settlers attacked the town of Kafr al-Dik, resulting in injuries to two settlers, while in Haris, locals responded to similar settler aggression.

In Beit Lahm, youth clashed with the occupiers in Husan. In Jenin, confrontations broke out near the illegal “Homesh” settlement and in surrounding neighborhoods.

In Ariha, resistance was documented in the Al-Auja area, targeting settler vehicles.

In al-Khalil, residents of Beit Ummar confronted occupation forces and settlers in renewed clashes.

These incidents underscore the ongoing atmosphere of confrontation and resistance across the occupied territories in response to settler violence and Zionist military operations.

In international news Hamas has condemned the inclusion of Benjamin Netanyahu in the so-called “Peace Council” for Gaza, calling it a dangerous sign that undermines justice and accountability.

In an official statement issued Thursday, Hamas said, “We strongly condemn the inclusion of war criminal Netanyahu, who is wanted by the International Criminal Court, in the Peace Council for Gaza.”

The movement stated that Netanyahu’s participation contradicts the very principles such a council should represent. It warned that “the war criminal Netanyahu continues to obstruct a ceasefire agreement in Gaza and carries out the most heinous violations by targeting unarmed civilians.”

Hamas stressed that “the first step toward stability lies in ending the occupation’s violations and holding all those responsible for genocide and starvation accountable.”

The statement came after US President Donald Trump and several international leaders signed a decree on Thursday establishing the “Peace Council” concerning the Gaza Strip. The signing took place during the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland.
