Palestinian Authority Betrays Militants & National Consensus With Inflammatory Posture

Mahmoud Abbas began the PLO’s Central Council (PCC) two-day meeting today by calling Hamas “sons of dogs”, claiming falsely that surrendering all zionist captives would stop the genocide, and echoing “Tel Aviv” in demanding that Hamas disarm.

Abbas calling Palestinians animals is nothing new. At his May 2023 speech at the United Nations, he said openly: “Save us. Man, why don’t you save us? Even animals, we have to save them, right? If you have an animal, don’t you protect them? Shame on you that you don’t protect animals.” Perhaps it echoes Gallant’s infamous description of Gazans as “human animals” more.

Discredited from the start:
The PLO Central Council has only met twice since 2018, most recently in 2022. Both meetings were boycotted by prominent Palestinians and factions within the PLO (such as PFLP, PPP) as well as PNI and independent Hanan Ashrawi).

This year is not different: PFLP (a PLO member) and PNI (Al-Mubadara) boycotted this year’s two-day meeting before it started.

Moments ago, the DFLP (also a PLO member) announced its withdrawal from the meeting after the conclusion of the first day, in protest of “the leadership’s failure to respond to…national unity, a national strategy to confront the genocide in Gaza and annexation of the West Bank, and implementing the outcomes of the Beijing Declaration.” Notably, the DFLP did not boycott previous meeting held in 2022.

With the boycott of PFLP, PNI, and DFLP, the three most significant parties after Fatah have withdrawn, leaving Abbas essentially alone.

A blatant power grab:
The meeting is expected to be the most significant in terms of changes to the PLO since its inception, coming in the wake of numerous unilateral changes by Mahmoud Abbas and Fatah to lay the groundwork for further consolidation of power, including significant internal reshuffling and reallocation. Dozens of forced resignations (firings) have been enacted across the PA, from the Prisoners Commission, to ambassadors, to the Prime Minister.

Abbas has made decrees renaming and changing position of ministries and ministers in recent weeks and days, for reasons related to financial and power allocation.

This comes after Fatah’s repeated refusal several proposals for a unity government by over a dozen factions in the last two years, as well as a massive $1.8 billion aid package from the EU to the PA that was implemented a few weeks ago. In February, the PA silently accepted a $680 million offer from the US to crack down on resistance in the West Bank, which they happily obliged.

Just a week later, Abbas cancelled stipends for families of prisoners and martyrs, an American-zionist demand that Abbas previously promised to never concede on; Abbas freed up $150 million per year for his good behavior.

The Palestinian Authority’s hands are soaked in Palestinian blood, with their US- and EU-funded bullets resulting in the martyrdom of 21 Palestinians since October 7th, 2023, while they carry out nonstop abduction campaigns and hold dozens of political prisoners.

On Sunday, 300 PA officers were ordered to Cairo for a two-month training they are forbidden to refuse. Egyptian mediators suggested that these officers are earmarked to police Gaza when conditions allow.

At the PCC, and as he laid out at the Arab Summit in February, Abbas is set to announce a Vice President of the PLO for the first time ever, without consulting with any factions within the PLO. The meeting with also see amendments to the PLO charter.

Palestinian Reactions to the non-Palestinian Authority:
Condemnations poured in from every corner of the Palestinian political spectrum following Abbas’ tirade, from resistance factions, civil society groups, and even from within Fatah itself.

In response to Abbas, Hamas leader Bassem Naim stated: “At a meeting that has usurped the legitimacy of the Palestinian people’s leadership, Mahmoud Abbas used foul language to describe a large and genuine segment of his own people.”

PFLP leaders derided the meeting, stating that no real reform came from previous meetings. The PFLP previously set conditions for their participating in the meeting, namely reform of the PLO based on resistance and democracy, and they made their position calling for national unity clear during recent meetings with Fatah, while affirming the PLO as the “sole representative of the Palestinian people.”

The Assembly of Families of Palestinian Prisoners, as well as the Assembly of the Families of the Martyrs issued condemnations, too. “Where is the cause of tens of thousands of Palestinian prisoners in the president’s agenda?,” they asked. “Does Mr. Abbas not envy the way ‘israeli’ leaders cherish their captives and exhaust every avenue to free them?” The Families of the Martyrs said it was a stab in the back, highlights “the gulf between the Authority and the resisting Palestinian reality.” They asked “where was the Palestinian leadership during 564 days of aggression and when Gaza was besieged, starved, and annihilated?” They affirmed resistance in all forms cannot be abandoned, surrendered, or negotiated.

Hamas expressed hope that the meeting could be “a genuine opportunity to build a national unified position” against the zionist entity’s genocide—if the Council would have enacted its own previous resolutions (stopping security coordination, escalating resistance, and severing ties with the zionist entity). Hamas not formally joined the PLO, but it has expressed willingness to accept its framework if it is reformed. Since 2022, however, Fatah blocks these steps and imposes new pre-conditions at every turn; meetings in Algiers, Beijing, Moscow, and Cairo did not yield tangible changes due to Fatah’s monopoly on the use of force.

The Mujahideen Movement was direct, stating that the meeting does not constitute a real Palestinian consensus, and continues the PLO’s history of isolation and exclusion while ignoring its own decisions. They affirmed complete support for armed resistance. Likewise, the PFLP called for a completely separate meeting that includes all factions.

The Popular Resistance Committees denounced Abbas’ speech in strong terms, rebuking Abbas’ false claim that the resistance gives “pretexts to the occupation”; they noted that occupation did not need a pretext to block Abbas from visiting Damascus or banning his Prime Minister Mohammed Mustafa from visiting villages in Nablus and Ramallah in the last week. They condemned Abbas’ description of Palestinians as “dead” and affirmed that resistance is guaranteed by international and divine laws, charter, and conventions.

Fatah Revolutionary Council member Fakhri Barghouti affirms that the PCC meeting does not represent the PLO or Palestinian people, but rather “a gang that hijacks Palestinian decision making.” PNI Secretary-General Mustafa Barghouti responded to Abbas: “The victim cannot be held responsible for the occupation’s crimes.”

The Ahrar Movement also condemned Abbas’ statements, stating that the meeting should have been held at the beginning of the war, not two years into genocide: “Our struggle with the zionist enemy is an existential, ideological one that admits neither surrender nor submission. If Mahmoud Abbas and his coterie live and thrive off such submission…they do not represent our proud people or its aspiration for freedom and liberation, which lies in its weapons and its resistance.”

What unites the above is a shared conviction that real legitimacy flows from resistance, not the isolated leadership of Ramallah.

The Authority’s Continued Obstruction:
Several factions called for adherence to the previous agreements of the PCC, as well as the implementation of the pan-faction Beijing Agreement of July 2024, which has not materialized, like previous meetings. Currently, closed-door Fatah-Hamas reconciliation talks are taking place, where Fatah has attempted to impose some conditions that sound like they came directly from “Tel Aviv.”

The DFLP, in its announcement of withdrawal all of its delegates from the PCC, stated that Abbas outright refused their proposals for unity and a national consensus plan at today’s meeting. They expressed surprise that the Central Council did not take up the mission of unification and shock at the absence of national dialogue. They closed by stating that the DFLP is withdrawing because “refuses to share responsibility for the results of this meeting and for any disastrous consequences for the national cause.”

Later, DFLP politburo members expressed that they strongly rejected Abbas’ remarks and the monopolization of the agenda of the meeting by Fatah. The PNC’s Vice President, DFLP politburo member Ali Faisal, was completely excluded from the preparations for the meeting.

The meeting was centered on the dictatorial creation of the Vice Presidency of the PLO, not Palestinian grievances and aspirations.

The Palestinian Resistance Forces Alliances (Damascus-based; includes Hamas, PIJ, PFLP-GC, and others) issued a statement completely rejecting Abbas’ speech today, which they considered as detached, an insult to resistance, promotes division, and sows hatred.

They affirmed that the PCC does not reflect Palestinian popular will or aspirations, and that the convention serves to entrench hereditary rule through a leadership that has lost its legitimacy. They stated that Abbas’ attack is a desperate attempt to weaken unity for the benefit of the occupation.

“We say to Mahmoud Abbas: If you truly care about the future of this people, you should end your career with an honorable national stance that restores the value of our people’s unity and its institutions…We stress that our people will remain faithful to the choice of resistance; neither words nor imposed councils can assassinate it.”

True legitimacy:
Ironically, Abbas started his speech by calling for “a unifying national foundation” and that Fatah is “continuing the struggle,” despite nearly everyone else calling out their blatant bluff, except the sycophants in the room in Ramallah who clapped for him.

All the while, Abbas’ gang refuses unity proposals, cancels elections at every chance (while blaming “israel”), and ruled by decree with support from the US and Arab regimes. As the second-oldest head of state in the world, he is still serving his term that expired over 16 years ago. 90% of Palestinians want Abbas to resign, a figure that has only risen in quarterly polling, while over 60% call for the dissolution of the Palestinian Authority (70% in Gaza).

His rant crystalizes the issues with the PLO and PA: they are not forums of national consensus, but a stage for unilateral decrees that drift further from Palestinian popular consciousness with every passing day. Gaza remains under fire, the West Bank is occupied, but the gulf between the rhetoric of Ramallah and the resistance of the righteous has never been larger.

As Naji Al-Ali drew decades ago, the PLO cuts through the fabric of Palestine.

Abbas will carry out dictatorial changes without consultation and appoint his own successor, confirming what factions have long stated: real Palestinian legitimacy is not represented in the halls of Ramallah, but by the rifles of the resistance, the blood of the martyrs, the screams of the wounded, and the groans of the prisoners.

If the US Launches a Ground Operation Against Yemen, it Will Backfire

Frustrated by its costly ongoing offensive campaign against Yemen, the Trump administration is said to be in talks to launch a ground effort aimed at seizing the strategic port city of Hodeidah, before effecting regime change in Sanaa. If this offensive does occur, it will result in a disastrous defeat for Washington.

In 2015, when then-US President Barack Obama backed the Saudi-led coalition’s war on Yemen, Riyadh had estimated that it would only take a few months to uproot the Ansar Allah leadership that had taken over Sanaa. Instead, they faced defeat after defeat at the hands of a highly-motivated armed force that received the backing of the majority of Yemen’s Armed Forces.

A decade later, despite the 2022 ceasefire, the conflict remains unresolved – and Ansar Allah’s power has only continued to grow. The movement that once seized control of Sanaa with the backing of key elements of the existing power structure, including segments of the military, was a shadow of what it has since become. Not only has it forged strong alliances with various tribal factions across Yemen, but it has also made leaps and bounds in developing both offensive and defensive weapons technologies.

The Yemeni Armed Forces that aligned with the Ansar Allah-led government proved capable of holding off the combined power of the Saudi-backed and UAE-backed Yemeni forces, in addition to various militant groups like Al-Qaeda and ISIS, also battling Saudi Arabia’s armed forces and later mercenary fighters from Sudan and elsewhere. They fought on the ground for years, amidst a US-Saudi blockade in the Red Sea, combined with US-British-‘Israeli’ logical support being provided to their enemies, backing Riyadh’s air attacks against the country.

While managing to inflict countless defeats on what was supposed to be a militarily superior opposition – on paper – the Yemeni government in Sanaa continued to expand its power and territorial control in a country that has historically been divided between north and south.

In late 2021, game changing technological advances introduced a new dynamic to the conflict, ultimately pressuring the Saudi-led coalition to accept a UN mediated ceasefire proposal. By early 2022, after an expansion of the ground war the previous year, the Yemeni Armed Forces had launched a wave of successful drone and missile attacks at targets across the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Saudi Arabia.

While Riyadh had been dealing with Ansar Allah’s drones and missiles for years by that point, it was clear that a significant technological advancement had occurred. And whereas the Saudi State had some capacity to absorb limited attacks on its vital infrastructure, the Emirati regime was far less equipped to withstand repeated blows from Yemen.

Abu Dhabi in particular cannot afford to absorb sustained waves of drone and missile attacks, especially if Dubai becomes a target. Unlike Saudi Arabia, the UAE is a tiny and vulnerable country. If Yemen decides to blanket them with strikes, their endeavors to diversify their economy will likely disintegrate, and no amount of deals with the US nor the Israelis can help them.

The claims that are being spread, particularly across Arabic language media, speculate that a Saudi-UAE backed force of about 80,000 soldiers is being amassed in order to launch an offensive aimed at seizing Hodeidah. Then, so goes the report, the US will offer air support and even launch a smaller ground attack to invade Yemen.

Donald Trump’s Vietnam?

Yemen was once dubbed Egypt’s Vietnam – and if the United States decides to launch a ground campaign there, the outcome is unlikely to align with President Donald Trump’s intentions. Already, the air campaign alone, which has already killed around 150 civilians, has proven to be an embarrassing failure, costing US taxpayers billions of dollars with little to show in return.

Despite this war of aggression against Yemen being launched without a popular mandate, nor congressional approval, the US corporate media have largely chosen to ignore it. Yet, if Trump sends boots on the ground, Yemen will quickly dominate headlines, for the simple reason that US service members will start returning home in coffins.

So far, the Yemeni Armed Forces have limited their confrontations with the US’s naval fleets to defensive maneuvers, meaning that they have not been attempting to sink ships or aircraft carriers and are focused on defending their nation. If a large-scale ground operation is launched, the defensive posture will shift to one of offense.

The ground campaign will not only be costly and far from a walk in the park, the US will also endure direct hits to its vessels and significant casualties. Additionally, we should expect major attacks on both Saudi and Emirati infrastructure, which will disrupt oil markets. It is also very likely that US bases located in the Arabian Peninsula and beyond will come under attack.

Furthermore, we should probably expect occasional strikes against the Zionist regime that will be more intense than previous waves. If we begin to see the civilian death toll climb dramatically in Yemen, while the war is overtly an American-Zionist aggression, the way in which Ansar Allah will deal with it won’t be restricted any longer. On top of this, it could even end up uniting the people of Yemen to an even greater degree as a result, including factions and tribes that have always been at odds with Ansarallah.

Yemen is not Iran, but it has the capacity to inflict considerable losses on the US-allied regimes surrounding it and can target US forces directly. The question then becomes, can Riyadh and Abu Dhabi endure continuous barrages of munitions being fired towards them? Also, when the war lasts much longer than anticipated and the proxy ground force used to attack Yemen is suffering severe losses, as American soldiers return home in body bags, what will the strategy be then?

Will the 80,000 strong force continue to fight if they are suffering considerable losses, all in order to achieve a victory for Zionist strategic interests? Or will they begin to experience serious morale issues and defections? Will the US public be able to stomach the losses, and can the US military itself justify the loss of assets in a pointless fight to please their Zionist allies?

There will be no benefits to launching such an assault, and the US has not amassed nearly enough ground troops to launch a war alone. On every level, this would be a catastrophic strategic blunder. If they lose, this would be an embarrassment of historic proportions and nation-defining victory for the Sana’a government, despite the immense civilian suffering that will inevitably come from the war. All of this leaves out the potential involvement of other regional actors who may take advantage of the situation too.

If Trump decides to go ahead with such a conflict, in order to please his Zionist ally, it will greatly backfire. There will also be no way to hide the fact that he is working against US interests and sacrificing his own citizens in order to make the Zionists satisfied, without any real end goal or vision for victory.

Ansarallah Launch Missile, Drone Attack on Zionist Targets in Tel Aviv, Haifa

The Yemeni Armed Forces announced on Wednesday two military operations against vital Zionist targets in the occupied Palestinian territories.

The YAF’s Missile Force carried out a top-tier military operation targeting a vital Zionist site in the occupied Haifa area using a hypersonic ballistic missile, spokesperson Brigadier General Yahya Saree said.

He confirmed that the missile successfully reached its target and that the Zionist interception systems failed to stop it, adding that the strike caused widespread fear and panic among settlers, with more than two million Zionists reportedly rushing to shelters.

Meanwhile, the YAF’s UAV Unit carried out another military operation, attacking another vital Zionist site in the occupied Palestinian city of Yafa (Tel Aviv) with a drone of the Yafa type, the spokesperson added.

Saree said the operations were in solidarity with the Palestinian people and their Resistance and in rejection of the genocide in Gaza being committed by Zionists with US support.

The YAF spokesperson reiterated that the Yemeni people will neither retreat nor abandon their religious, moral, and humanitarian duties and will continue their path of Resistance in support of the oppressed Palestinian people until the Israeli war on Gaza ends and the siege imposed on the enclave is lifted.

On Tuesday evening, US aircraft carried out four airstrikes on the al-Salem district in Saada, northern Yemen and US-led strikes targeted Kamaran Island in the Red Sea in western Yemen, in addition to two airstrikes on the al-Salif district.

The bombing came after the YAF announced downing an American MQ-9 drone off the coast of Hajjah province that was conducting “hostile missions” in Yemeni airspace.

Saree said the US drone was shot down with a domestically produced surface-to-air missile, noting that this marks the seventh MQ-9 drone downed in April alone, and the 22nd since the beginning of the YAF’s military operations in support of Gaza.

In the same briefing, Saree mentioned that the YAF forces carried out two military operations targeting the US aircraft carriers USS Harry S. Truman and USS Carl Vinson, along with their accompanying warships in the Red Sea and the Arabian Sea.

Ansarallah Launch Missile, Drone Attack on Zionist Targets in Tel Aviv, Haifa – Abolition Media

Al-Quds, al-Qassam Brigades Carry Out Momentous Joint Gaza Operation

Palestinian Resistance factions have intensified their operations against Zionist forces in Gaza, with both the al-Quds Brigades and al-Qassam Brigades reporting attacks on Zionist engineering units in the eastern part of Gaza City.

On Tuesday, Al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Jihad Movement, announced it had targeted a engineering force with a barrage of 60mm mortar shells. The force was reportedly operating east of Al-Tuffah neighborhood in Gaza City.

A day earlier, the al-Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of Hamas, claimed responsibility for luring a engineering unit into a pre-rigged tunnel trap in the same area. According to the group, once the unit reached the tunnel entrance, it was detonated, causing casualties among Zionist soldiers.

Dismantling Hamas ‘not a realistic goal’

Zionist newspaper Maariv reported that dismantling Hamas was not currently on the government’s agenda, citing the group’s resilience and continued combat capabilities. “Contrary to initial assessments, Hamas still retains a significant number of fighters, some of whom are organized into brigades and battalions,” the report stated, adding that Hamas’ guerrilla warfare tactics are complicating the occupation army’s efforts.

Additionally, Haaretz reported that the Zionist Southern Command has acknowledged that large numbers of Hamas fighters have regrouped in the city of Rafah, further challenging Zionist military objectives in the region.

‘Breaking the Sword’ operation footage

The al-Qassam Brigades published video footage of a military operation titled “Breaking the Sword.” The operation targeted Zionist forces near the separation fence east of Beit Hanoun.

The footage, shared shortly after news of the explosion, shows al-Qassam fighters engaging troops in the same area where the explosion occurred.

This marks a continuation of Hamas military operations targeting Zionist forces positioned along the border with Gaza. The group has increasingly publicized such operations as part of its strategic messaging.

Ambush after ambush

On Sunday, the al-Qassam Brigades said that its Resistance fighters executed a complex ambush against occupation forces east of Beit Hanoun in northern Gaza

In detail, al-Qassam stated that its fighters targeted a Zionist military Storm vehicle, used by the Combat Intelligence Battalion of the Gaza Division, with an anti-tank shell, inflicting confirmed casualties.

When occupation reinforcements arrived for rescue, they were ambushed with an anti-personnel explosive, leaving troops dead and wounded.

The Al-Qassam also confirmed targeting a newly established Zionist military position in the ambush area with four RPG shells, followed by mortar fire, and the group’s military media released footage showing the attack on invading occupation vehicles near the al-Tuffah neighborhood east of Gaza City.

Al-Qassam Executes Several Successful Attacks

Hamas’ armed wing, the al-Qassam Brigades, said Sunday that its Resistance fighters executed a complex ambush, dubbed “Breaking the Sword”, against occupation forces east of Beit Hanoun in northern Gaza on Sunday.

In detail, al-Qassam stated that its fighters targeted a Zionist military Storm vehicle, used by the Combat Intelligence Battalion of the Gaza Division, with an anti-tank shell, inflicting confirmed casualties.

When Zionist reinforcements arrived for rescue, they were ambushed with an anti-personnel explosive, leaving troops dead and wounded.

Al-Qassam also confirmed targeting a newly established Zionist military position in the ambush area with four RPG shells, followed by mortar fire, and the group’s military media released footage showing the attack on invading occupation vehicles near the al-Tuffah neighborhood east of Gaza City.

“Breaking the Sword” ambush came yesterday, when the al-Qassam Brigades announced the execution of a complex ambush in the al-Tuffah neighborhood east of Gaza City, where a Zionist force was left with casualties, including dead and wounded.

Zionist media acknowledged the killing of one occupation soldier and the injury of four others in a “serious incident” in the Gaza Strip.

The KAN channel pointed out that the “incident” in northern Gaza took place near the location visited by Zionist Prime Minister Netanyahu and Security Minister Israel Katz last week.

Occupationmedia cited former intelligence officer Michael Milstein as saying that “what reinforces Hamas’s resilience is its deep ideological conviction, which enables it to persevere to the very end.”

“Hamas fighters are prepared to fight to the last breath,” he indicated.

For its part, al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) movement, published footage documenting its fighters seizing two military drones while they were carrying out reconnaissance missions in the skies over Gaza City.

This comes as the occupation continues to ramp up its assault on Gaza, displacing and killing tens of thousands of people and exacerbating the humanitarian crisis in the enclave.

Zionist media reported a serious security incident in northern Gaza on Monday, where an explosion in Beit Hanoun left three soldiers injured.

According to reports, the soldiers were wounded by an explosive device that detonated during a military operation in the area. Rescue aircraft were dispatched to evacuate the injured personnel from the scene.

Explosion injures Zionist soldiers in Beit Hanoun

The incident occurred in Beit Hanoun, located in the northern part of the Gaza Strip, an area that has seen repeated confrontations throughout the ongoing war.

Occupation media confirmed that three soldiers sustained injuries from the blast, which marks one of the latest developments in the volatile region.

Emergency response units reportedly arrived quickly, and the injured soldiers were evacuated for treatment via military aircraft.

PFLP Calls for Worldwide Besieging of Elbit Systems

Elbit Systems is a partner in killing and burning children in Gaza; the time has come to besiege it, shut it down, and prosecute its leaders The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine calls on the free people of the world—individuals, organizations, and solidarity movements—to take urgent action to besiege Elbit Systems, which is directly involved in the zionist war of genocide against our people in the Gaza Strip, after its proven participation in the recent massacres that targeted secure tents and burned children and displaced persons. The “israeli” army’s use of the “SkyStriker” suicide drone—manufactured by Elbit Systems—to carry out crimes that deliberately targeted civilians in cold blood underscores the depth of the collusion between the zionist military establishment and global arms corporations. Countries such as the United States, the United Kingdom, Australia, Germany, and others also bear full responsibility for these crimes, as they are partners in Elbit Systems, one of the occupation’s most important arms suppliers, particularly in its genocidal war against our people. The Front urges the free people of the world to lay siege to Elbit Systems’ facilities worldwide, organize protests in front of its branches and offices, and pressure complicit Western and other governments to close the company and sever all ties with it. We also call on the International Criminal Court to pursue the company’s leaders as war criminals, since they are partners of the occupation in perpetrating these crimes. OUT OF PALESTINE.

They built the war machine. Together, we will dismantle it. 750 military bases. 50 million tonnes of C02. Trillions of dollars in profits. Today, we say: Shut it down.

Joint Statement: Against the US Aggression on Yemen; Stand With the Yemeni People Confronting Genocide in Palestine

Against the U.S. Aggression on Yemen
In Support of the Position of the Yemeni People in Confronting the Genocide in Occupied Palestine
Joint Statement and Appeal
(Issued by the Yemeni National Team for Foreign Outreach and the Masar Badil, the Palestinian Alternative Revolutionary Path Movement)

We once again condemn the ongoing savage and barbaric U.S. aggression against the Yemeni people and their civilian and economic institutions. We also condemn the disgraceful and cowardly official Arab silence, and every complicit stance or participation in justifying this heinous crime by some Arab and Islamic states and regimes in the region. At the same time, we extend our sincere revolutionary salutes to the valiant Yemeni armed forces who stand with pride, dignity, and confidence alongside the Palestinian people in confronting the crimes of the Zionist entity and its ongoing genocide under U.S. sponsorship. The Yemeni armed forces—by the grace of God—are confronting the aggression carried out by the U.S. to aid the “Israeli” enemy and will continue their support operations for the oppressed Palestinian people until the aggression on Gaza ceases and the siege is lifted.

In this joint statement, issued in eight languages, we call upon friends, comrades, and revolutionary forces around the world for the broadest possible global popular mobilization against the Zionist genocide, and to continue international popular efforts to prosecute the “Israeli” war criminals and their murderous, criminal allies in the White House. We join our voices with those of peoples, forces, and liberation movements that confront the crimes of imperialism, occupation, fascism, and racism, and that support the just liberation struggle of the Palestinian people and their legitimate resistance to liberate Palestine, from the river to the sea, and to uproot the racist Zionist settler-colonial occupation and its agents in the region and the world.

The American weapons that kill innocents, target civilians, destroy water reservoirs, burn agricultural land, and bomb infrastructure and public civilian facilities in Yemen are the very same weapons that destroy homes, schools, and hospitals in the Gaza Strip, the occupied West Bank, Lebanon, and Syria. These weapons are produced by the same death factories and U.S. and Western corporations. They aim to entrench American hegemony and serve the same ruling classes. Accordingly, we call upon the free people of the world, especially in the United States, to launch a popular campaign against what is called the “American military-industrial complex.” We call for the imposition of a military embargo on “Israel” and for preventing countries and companies from supplying the Zionist occupation entity with tools of killing and extermination.

We reaffirm: Despite the ferocity and power of the brutal war machine and the destruction, death, and suffering it causes, the Palestinian and Yemeni peoples stand as one, unified army on the frontlines against imperialism, Zionism, and reaction. Together, they present an authentic revolutionary model to the Arab and Islamic peoples and the free people of the world, and they outline the path of ongoing revolution, the features of universal liberation, and the direction of the honest and trustworthy human compass—not only in our region, but also for all the peoples of the Global South and for all humanity that still suffers under the weight of fear, repression, poverty, exploitation, state terror, and the policies of subordinate client regimes.

We in the National Team for Foreign Outreach and the Masar Badil: Palestinian Alternative Revolutionary Path Movement call, through this joint statement, upon all the free people of the world to support the position of the Yemeni people, its leadership, and its army. We also renew our call to end the aggression and the siege imposed on the Yemeni people by the United States and its allies, and we call on the free peoples to rally around the clear revolutionary stances expressed by the Yemeni people around the clock, in squares and public arenas, affirming their resolve and will, and that they will not retreat, tire, or surrender—but will remain steadfast in their historic position in support of the oppressed Palestinian people and their heroic resistance in Gaza and all of occupied Palestine.

The revolutionary humanitarian stance is embodied in the slogan “You Are Not Alone,” shouted by millions of Yemeni voices for Palestine. It is affirmed by the masses under sun and rain, with weapons, blood, and sacrifice, and it is carried by men, women, the elderly, and children in the squares and arenas of Yemen. This revolutionary slogan today represents a human and faith-based wisdom, and a strong cry that terrifies the entities of occupation, darkness, and dependency. It expresses the will of a defiant people who will neither surrender nor kneel before enemies. We want this sincere slogan “You Are Not Alone” to become an international slogan and stance, echoed by the vanguards of the peoples in every city and capital, and in every field liberated by the will of the masses and their free conscience.

Long live Yemen, free, proud, and independent

Joint Statement: Against the US Aggression on Yemen; Stand With the Yemeni People Confronting Genocide in Palestine – Abolition Media

Yemen Attacks US Warships and Ben Gurion Airport

In support of the oppressed Palestinian people and their fighters, and in response to the ongoing war of genocide against our brothers in Gaza:

The Yemeni Armed Forces’ missile force carried out a military operation targeting a military target in the vicinity of Ben Gurion Airport in the occupied Yaffa region, using a “Zulfiqar” ballistic missile.

For the second month in a row, the Armed Forces continue to effectively and responsibly confront the American aggression against our country. As promised, we will confront escalation with escalation.

The missile force, the drone air force, and the naval forces carried out a dual military operation targeting the US aircraft carriers Truman and Vinson and their warships in the Red and Arabian Seas with a number of cruise missiles and drones.

This is the first targeting of the carrier “Vinson” since its arrival in the Arabian Sea.

Our air defenses also succeeded in shooting down an American MQ-9 drone while it was carrying out hostile operations in the airspace of Sana’a Governorate, using a locally manufactured surface-to-air missile. This is the fifth such incident within three weeks and the twenty-first during the Battle of the Promised Victory and the Holy Jihad in support of Gaza.

The Yemeni Armed Forces affirm the following:

First: The American military buildup and the continuation of the aggression against our country will only lead to more attacks, targeting, clashes and confrontations, and will only push Yemen, with its noble people and faithful leadership, to more steadfastness and perseverance in its supportive stance towards the oppressed Palestinian people.

Second: The enemy will reap nothing from escalating its aggression against our country except disappointment, failure, and defeat. Its recently arrived aircraft carrier will not achieve what five previous carriers, which the armed forces successfully confronted, pursued, and forced to leave, failed to achieve.

Third: Dear, free, and independent Yemen will not back down from continuing its support operations for the Palestinian people until the “israeli” aggression on Gaza stops and the siege is lifted.

Allah is sufficient for us, and He is the best Disposer of affairs. He is the best Master and the best Helper.
Long live Yemen, free, honorable and independent

Hezbollah Leader Qassim says Resistance to Persist, Disarmament not Possible

Hezbollah Secretary-General Sheikh Naim Qassem reaffirmed in a televised speech on Friday the centrality of armed Resistance as a response to Zionist aggression and expansion, rejecting any discussion of disarmament while occupation persists.

“The resistance is a reaction to the occupation,” Sheikh Qassem said, “especially in the event that the Lebanese state is unable to protect the land and its citizens on its own.”

He warned of the Zionist regime’s broader ambitions, declaring, the occupation “is expansionist—it is not satisfied with occupied Palestine but also wants to take Lebanon.”

Resistance achievements and ceasefire credibility

Highlighting the role of resistance in Lebanon’s modern history, Sheikh Qassem said, “The distinction of the resistance in Lebanon is that it has achieved great and influential accomplishments over the past 40 years.”

He credited the current ceasefire to the endurance of the resistance. “The ceasefire agreement is the result of the steadfastness of the resistance,” he stated. “Without this steadfastness, there would be no agreement, and ‘Israel’ would have continued its aggression.”

Sheikh Qassem added, “The entire world today acknowledges that Hezbollah and the Lebanese state adhered to the agreement, while ‘Israel’ did not.”

Rejection of disarmament calls

Addressing local and international calls for Hezbollah’s disarmament, Sheikh Qassem warned, “‘Israels’ talk about disarming the resistance is aimed at weakening Lebanon and occupying it as part of its expansionist project.”

“There is one particular party and a few discordant voices in Lebanon who focus solely on the issue of the Resistance’s weapons,” he said. “But the Resistance’s weapons are exclusively tied to confronting the Israeli enemy.”

“The primary issue in Lebanon is not the Resistance’s weapons but the expulsion of the ‘Israeli’ occupation,” he asserted.

Steadfastness, unity, and options

Sheikh Qassem stressed that the Resistance is here to stay. “As long as the resistance exists—and that it will—alongside the national army, the Lebanese people, and its popular base, ‘Israel’ cannot achieve its objectives.”

He dismissed any suggestion of weakness, saying, “Anyone who thinks we are weak is delusional.” He added, “We confront the occupation with the strength of our position, national unity, the building of the army, and the preparedness of the resistance. We have not and will not surrender.”

The Hezbollah leader emphasized that diplomacy has its limits. “The opportunity we are giving to diplomacy is not open-ended,” he said. “We have options, we fear nothing, and if you persist, you will see at the right time what we decide.”

Urging reflection on resistance outcomes rather than its costs, he said, “One should not say to the resistance, ‘You have paid a high price, look at the losses,’ but rather ask how it was able to prevent ‘Israel’ from achieving its goals.”

He concluded, “We are patiently steadfast with wisdom because we know there is a balance in losses and gains, but we do not build on that; we build on our stance, and our stance is resistance.”

Resistance arms serve to defend homeland

Sheikh Qassem firmly rejected all calls for the disarmament of the Resistance, emphasizing that Hezbollah’s weapons are integral to Lebanon’s defense and sovereignty. “We are not weak; we are people of confrontation, dignity, and pride—for the land and the people,” he said.

“We will not allow anyone to disarm Hezbollah or the Resistance; this idea must be entirely discarded,” Sheikh Qassem declared. He warned that “those calling for the disarmament of the Resistance by force are offering a free service to the ‘Israeli’ enemy and are aiming to sow discord between the Resistance and the army. That discord will not happen.”

“These weapons are the backbone of the Resistance. They liberated our country and protected its sovereignty,” Qassem stated. “We will confront anyone who attacks the Resistance or seeks to disarm us, and we advise no one to play this game with us.”

He added, “Those who have the most honorable people fear no one in the world, and those who have the most honorable people stand firm while cowards flee.”

Lebanon’s defensive strategy

On the ceasefire agreement, he clarified, “It applies exclusively to the area south of the Litani River, and this is stated five times in the agreement.”

Sheikh Qassem said further discussions can only happen after the Zionist regime’s compliance: “Let’s first see ‘Israel’ adhere to the agreement, then we can talk.” He added, “Once ‘Israel’ fulfills its obligations, Lebanon will begin discussing the other provisions of Resolution 1701.”

Sheikh Qassem outlined a framework for any future dialogue. “Three fundamental principles must govern any dialogue: first, the protection of Lebanon’s sovereignty, the liberation of its land, and the cessation of all forms of aggression against it.” He added, “The second principle in any dialogue is to leverage the strength of the Resistance and its weapons in any defensive strategy.”

The third, he said, would be to de-link reconstruction and the disarmament of the Resistance.

He confirmed that there had been an “exchange of messages with the President of the Republic regarding the implementation of the agreement south of the Litani,” noting the messages were “positive and will remain so.”

“When we are invited to dialogue, we will be ready,” he said, “but not under the pressure of occupation.”

As for the defensive strategy itself, he stressed, “We will not discuss the details in the media, nor will we preempt the principles that will be agreed upon once we sit at the dialogue table.”

Link between disarmament, reconstruction rejected

Sheikh Qassem tied the occupation’s obligations directly to the path forward. “Hezbollah has fulfilled its responsibilities; let ‘Israel’ fulfill its own, and let the Lebanese state fulfill its own.”

He insisted that any transition to the next phase must begin with a clear end to hostilities: “Moving to the second phase requires implementing the first phase, which includes the withdrawal of ‘Israel,’ an end to its aggression, and the actual start of reconstruction.”

Sheikh Qassem rejected any conditional approach to rebuilding. “They say they are linking reconstruction to disarmament; we say we are the ones linking weapons to reconstruction,” he stated.

He concluded with a warning to Washington: “Lebanon cannot move forward under US guardianship, and the US must respect the Lebanese people’s will for independence and non-interference in its affairs.”

PFLP on the Occasion of Palestinian Prisoners’ Day

“Freedom for the Lovers of Freedom”

Prisoners are at the heart of the national struggle and a symbol of our people’s unity and resistance

To our heroic people in the homeland and in the diaspora,

This year, Palestinian Prisoners’ Day comes as our people face one of the most brutal and bloody periods in their history, under an ongoing zionist genocide targeting Palestinians wherever they are — in Gaza, the West Bank, Al-Quds, and even inside prison cells. There, the Palestinian prisoners’ movement stands at the forefront of the confrontation, in the trenches of steadfastness and dignity, paying a heavy price in defense of land, rights, freedom, and honor.

On this national day of struggle, we stand with pride and reverence before the heroism of our female and male prisoners, who face — day and night — the fascist policies of the occupation, including systematic torture, deadly medical neglect, starvation, humiliation, and the denial of basic human rights. Their suffering reflects the broader genocidal policies targeting all segments of our people, especially in heroic, steadfast Gaza and the defiant West Bank.

We extend our deep respect and tribute to the martyrs of the prisoners’ movement, foremost among them the martyred leader Walid Daqqah, who passed away due to deliberate medical neglect, remaining a living symbol of sacrifice and steadfastness in the face of zionist injustice.

We also salute the imprisoned leaders, foremost among them Comrade Ahmed Sa’adat, Secretary-General of the PFLP and a symbol of steadfast resistance, along with his comrades in the prisons: Ahed Abu Ghoulmeh, Kamil Abu Hanish, Walid Hanatsheh, Samer Arbid, Zahir Shashtari, and others, alongside national leaders such as Marwan Barghouti, Hassan Salameh, Bassam al-Saadi, Wajdi Joudeh, Bassem al-Khandakji, and a long list of prisoners. We proudly recognize our women prisoners, youth detainees, and prisoners from Jerusalem, inside the ’48 territories, and across the Arab world.

To our people,

What the prisoners—particularly those from Gaza—are enduring constitutes a full-fledged war crime. Dozens have been executed, while the fate of hundreds remains unknown amid a horrific campaign of enforced disappearance, targeting detained women, children, and the sick since October 7, 2023. The fascist, racist occupation government, led by war criminals such as Ben Gvir, has institutionalized a system of systematic torture and abuse, openly inciting the killing of prisoners and stripping them of hard-won rights achieved through blood and hunger strikes.

Today, over 9,900 prisoners, including 29 women, around 400 children, and more than 3,498 administrative detainees, are held under inhumane conditions — a disgrace to the silent world.

The prisoners’ cause has always been and will always remain a central part of our liberation struggle — not a seasonal issue, but a permanent symbol of unity and resistance. Therefore, we in the PFLP affirm the following on this day:

1. We renew our pledge of loyalty to our heroic prisoners and call for their cause to be placed at the forefront of national, field, official, and popular efforts. The resistance pledges to break their chains and work tirelessly for the liberation of all of them, without exception.

2. We call for the development of a comprehensive national strategy for the prisoners’ cause — moving it beyond symbolic gestures to a sustained, daily struggle that involves all sectors.

3. We firmly reject any harm to prisoners’ stipends and rights, demand the repeal of all punitive measures against them and their families, and call for laws that guarantee their rights, dignity, and decent living.

4. We urge the international community and human rights organizations — especially the International Criminal Court (ICC) — to break their shameful silence and complicity, and to act urgently to hold the occupation accountable for its crimes against prisoners and to impose sanctions to stop these fascist violations.

5. We value the efforts of human rights institutions, international networks, trade unions, and grassroots organizations that support the prisoners’ cause. We call for expanding pressure and boycott campaigns against the occupation, and for continuing international actions in support of prisoners’ rights — including legal efforts to prosecute the occupation for its crimes against the prisoners’ movement. In this context, we call for the urgent and ongoing deployment of international missions to uncover the fate of thousands of Gaza detainees whose whereabouts remain unknown. These individuals are being held in secret camps and detention centers and subjected to brutal torture — particularly at “Sde Teman” Camp — in what constitutes a full-fledged war crime requiring immediate action by international organizations, especially the International Committee of the Red Cross, which has abandoned its responsibilities.

6. Finally, we affirm that the prisoners’ cause is a continuous struggle until full liberation. Victory will not be complete until the last prisoner is freed, the last refugee returns, and this racist, oppressive occupation is dismantled.

Glory to the martyrs
Freedom to the prisoners
Victory to the resistance and our great people
