It only became dangerously impassable if there was unseasonably warm weather or spring melts where the windrow becomes a mini ice #mountain.

Back on Twitter I (as TESA's volunteer Twitter manager) repurposed the then-rarely-used #abtrans (was usually content related to what would now usually be tagged #abroads) to refer to #Alberta-related #trans issues.

I'd love to see it used here, too, if you're willing.

We also used tags such as #sktrans and #bctrans and #mbtrans (etc) for relevant info for other jurisdictions. It was helpful indexing the many issues arising in these far-flung places! 🙂

Back in the day, I started and managed the Trans Equality Society of Alberta's (TESA) Twitter account. Someone else now does that, but it was an amazing experience. 🙂

Prior to us coming along, the #abroads hashtag was #abtrans, albeit used rarely.

We used it for everything related to our province, and amended accordingly for news from other provinces (eg: SKtrans, MBtrans, etc).

Agreed.

I am somewhat more pragmatically concerned about things like the City of Edmonton *claiming* to be a 15-minute city, particularly after eradicating so many functional suburban bus routes into this nearly-almost-completely-and-utterly-useless mess.

We've had these wildlife overpasses in the Rocky Mountains of Alberta, Canada since 1996. ❤️

There are also a number of wildlife underpasses along the highway.
