Qualcuno mi consiglia un buon software #Free e #Opensource per #Android per gestire un numero fisso #VOIP?

Ho provato #Zoiper, ma la versione free ti sdraia il telefono a livello di consumo (hanno messo il risparmio batterie, ovviamente, solo nella versione a pagamento)

Suggerimenti o consigli?

I'm trying to configure Zoiper with voip.ms, but I keep getting DNS 503 errors, which seem to indicate configuration issues, and apparently I don't know what I'm doing. 🙄

On Zoiper, I'm using my voip.ms username/credentials, and it SAYS its calling, but I hear nothing in the headset. When I hang up, it says NO ANSWER, and my inbox (at Zoiper) is full of DNS 503 errors.

I'm pretty sure I'm doing something wrong/stupid on a very basic level, but dunno where. 🙄

Finally got #zoiper "working" under #nixos. Only works with ltrace (but very slowly). Otherwise comes up with a zygote cannot fork errors. Arggh!

Thanks for the recommendation, just set this up myself with a soft phone (Zoiper) on my Android for the testing period. Next step will be porting over the existing land line number. No writeup yet (still collecting info....) but so far so good.

Die #FritzPhon App scheitert hier ja bekanntlich krachend (bzw. still weil man weder was hört, noch gehört wird) #ZoiPer (auf Android) funktioniert hier ganz gut, WENN man in der FP eine statische Route zum #WireGuard-Netz legt.

Well it's not so unique, is it?

Why should you get in trouble if you make the client, not the infrastructure.

if millions of people switch to SIP-Phoning it doesn't bother #zoiper or #linphone

if billions of people start using mastodon it's no big deal for firefox or tusky (both clients for that network).

If thousands of people migrate to XMPP it's no problem for Gajim or Conversation.

So I'd say: It's not so unique 😛

#ZoiPer все-таки классный sip клиент для @phone. Жаль только иногда падает и подвисает. Работает стабильней, если отключить в настройках Google Analytics и заблокировать IP адреса zoiper.com.
