Another aspect of #Matter which I don’t really like is there are no in-wall devices, like light switches, power sockets and other modules that would otherwise fit into the electrical box.
It’s all a massive afterthought with “smart” bulbs, that you have to always explain you cannot use wall switch now and you have to operate with glued on remote, eating up shitload of batteries…🥹
That’s not that smart, if you ask me…

I've spent two days on and off trying to update my Zooz Z-Wave stick and i've never longed for the death of #zwave as hard as I am right now.
