Arcadiagt5For a light skit comedy I’ll definitely give #MyDeerFriendNokotan props for so flawlessly parodying the hell out of the #Marimite OP scene. Lord knows that particular #yuribait show NEEDS to be parodied to hell and back (I still remember #OuranHighSchoolHostClub doing it) but frankly most of the rest of the episode was meh. Some chuckles but nothing at that starting level again.

With season 3 underway, and the MCs having dramatically matured, I’m rewatching #anime_eupho from the beginning. Goddamn but the first ED is #yuribait. Connecting Kumiko and Reina with the red strings of (romantic) fate is just RUDE #kyoani

@shoshoctopus Besides, Marika/Chiaki not to mention that background couple are pretty solidly canon (complete with at least one **On-screen** kiss (to solid applause from the other watching girls)) in #MoretsuPirates. So I don’t think that show can be legitimately called #YuriBait. I don’t think I’ve seen Love Lab (or maybe bounced off the first ep for some reason and never went back).

@shoshoctopus Yes, it probably is time to rewatch my (possibly our) favourite* #YuriBait show**, but that doesn’t mean I want any more shows under that heading.

Of course they won’t, the show will be #yuribait at best, but even after just 3 episodes I’m really loving the dynamic between these two.
But that much alone is GOOD character writing. That final scene of episode 3 with Anis sleeping on Euphy’s lap, and Euphy softly crying because she didn’t know how to handle the feelings welling up just felt SOOOO right.
