Now, we have 401(k)s that shift all the market risk onto the worker, while the banks make even more money managing our money and charging us fees. 📉🏦 #Pensions #WorkLife

Japan has ranked last in the world for average sleep duration for four consecutive years, according to ResMed's 2026 World Sleep Survey. Most JP commenters on social media said this is a systemic issue: work simply doesn't give them the time to rest.

I was really cringing at people calling themselves "AI artists" and then I read my day jobs work email calling for "prompt engineers" and almost fell off my chair

📝 Plot: A young typist wins a contest and travels from the Limousin to Paris for work, where city life and encounters with two very different men challenge her expectations. Through whimsy and discomfort on the edge of office stress and nightlife, the film blends drama, humor and coming‑of‑age perspective in a brisk short format.

Would you appreciate receiving an automated email from your employer's HR Information System, purportedly sent by your manager but actually they had nothing to do with it, congratulating you on your work anniversary and thanking you for your efforts?

I saw a quote today that really hit me:

"When they invented slavery, they never planned to end it. They just updated the system. In the past, slaves had to be housed and fed. Today, we pay for our own food and shelter, but we still spend our whole lives working just to survive."

This is exactly what modern burnout feels like. The price of simply existing in this society is so damn high. We run our minds and bodies at 100% every single day, and we are all just tired.
