Today's work-related discovery: my HP Zbook can charge from the docks at work, so I don't have to cart in the monstrously-huge power brick.

But, in order to not exceed the power capabilities of the dock, the CPU runs at about 30% of full power.

I kicked off a calculation before 10am this morning that I expected to take an hour, perhaps two. It was still running, and only about 75% done, when I put my laptop to sleep so I could come home after 5pm...

Plugged into that monstrous power brick at home, the calc finished in half an hour.
