Charles Howard Lewis was born #otd in Montgomery, 1913. He worked as a tap dancer and joined the CPUSA in 1936. He arrived in Spain on June 30, 1937. He served with ALB and the Mac Paps as a machine gunner. He was WIA at Fuentes de Ebro and KIA at Teruel in January 1938.
