You know what? Don't say, "how are you?" as a substitute for "hello". "How are you?" literally indicates an interest and willingness to empathize with my experience and emotional state. If you can't handle that, and expect that everyone has to say they are "Fine" to pamper your expectation that nothing needs to be done or thought about, then you have the problem and not me.
