More tech fun tonight!

Gave Windows 98 Quickinstall a spin on an ASUS EEE 701, installing Windows ME on it. Honestly quite the success!

Video works with i915 driver (no 3D), audio works with the HD Audio beta driver. No networking, but not particularly interested in that. Runs pretty darn quick.

Kinda fun, kinda silly, I very much enjoy it.

What caused #WindowsME to be the worst operating system Microsoft made, the company looked back and utilized AI to fix and improve Windows ME with Windows 11 AI peripherals.

Would Microsoft release Windows 11 ME if they looked back at the failed OS?
