Adopting the New Window Controls in iPadOS 26

iPadOS has been evolving, and this year Apple is pushing the windowing experience even further in iPadOS 26 with the new Window Controls and a macOS-like menu bar.

For all my window decoration stans on there, this is 100% why I don't like window decorations. I have an super ultra-wide monitor and I like playing video games on 50% of the display, but if I did that normally I'd have a titlebar on my game. โ€‹

Like, I dunno if this is a hot take, but some windows just shouldn't be decoratedโ€‹ To be honest, I generally hate titlebars and think they're a waste of space. It's why I like GNOME's CSD initiative, because it condenses the titlebar into the header of the application. Ultimately though, I'd rather have no window controls at all than have a titlebar.

Am I crazy though? Do people like their windowed games having a titlebar? โ€‹ What do other people with an ultra-wide do?
