Airplanista 🇺🇦This hour's random desktop background on my #MacbookPro is this PR shot of the Terrafugia Transition breaking ground on an early test flight.
Always amazed me how much the company had to tap dance around the endless questions from the audience about how a Transition owner was supposed to get thru an airport gate to take off when not based there. They never had a sufficient answer.
The Transition was marketed as a "Roadable Airplane" however we STILL do not have "flying cars."
James Edwards@joelanman nb. another way of handling it (apart from that `instanceof` test) is just to use `.then().then()` instead of `.then().catch()`. (Or you could have a separate `try..catch` inside `catch()` lol.)
But that makes the catch construct essentially redundant, and undermines the semantics of what your API considers an error.
Personally I think this is a design flaw.
