Fun #VP #kamala2024 quote, "Trump is old and quite weird", per #DailyKos.
Before heading out to the #SantaCruz to #Capitola #WharftoWharf 10K race, I saw this little amusement. Good way to start a race on the weekend.
The Harris campaign is calling Trump “old and weird.” It is a masterstroke. Nothing punctures the over-inflated ego of a toxic narcissist quicker than being thought of as a lumbering oddball. The strategy has legs. Trump compulsively provides evidence...
pretty great #wharftowharf today after all! because of my foot injury earlier this year i could only train for about 6 weeks. usually i train for at least four months
my stretch goal was to crack an hour and i hit 59:58 on my watch! 🏆
i felt strong and connected all the way through, and it was nice and cool, and everyone's energy was poppin off
Kathy and I are getting ready for the Wharf to Wharf race. This will be about our 12th in a row, less the pandemic canceled races. This year is the 51st annual race. It starts at the Santa Cruz wharf and Beach Boardwalk and courses along the coast ending 6 miles later at the Capitola wharf.
While the elite runners are competing for time and prize money, most of the rest of us are out for fun, often stopping for a bit to listen to the 50 or so bands that play along the route.
The race is limited to 16,000 participants but it's divided into corrals so while packed for the first mile or two it's reasonably open.
