Une porte du XIIᵉ siècle à la cathédrale de Wells, dans le Somerset (Angleterre) 🚪⛪
Le bois porte les siècles comme une peau : marques, patine, irrégularités… et cette ferronnerie qui ressemble à une écriture médiévale en métal.
C’est fou de penser qu’elle a vu passer des générations entières, des hivers, des rois, des pèlerins… et qu’elle est toujours là, à faire son travail de porte, tranquillement. 😉
