Un torneo davvero stregato per il tennista russo che aveva già perso le finali del 2023 e del 2024 per merito di Carlos Alcaraz (sconfitto invece in questa edizione in semifinale dallo stesso Medvedev) e che stavolta nulla ha potuto contro un Sinner che ha sbagliato pochissimo e che nei momenti chiavi ha piazzato il colpo vincente.
