I haven’t done any drawing in so long, I can’t remember how long it’s been. I’m not very good, and my feather-sketching abilities have clearly suffered from disuse, but during my Norwegian study time this afternoon, I looked up “bli.” Not a fan of Berlitz but it used “bli igjen” as a sentence example, to say “remain.” It inspired today’s sketch & a bit of dual language study for the same phrase in Cherokee syllabary: si otsedoha (see oh-che-doe-hah). #sketching #norwegian #cherokee #WeRemain

Black Lives Memorial Garden was swept from Cal Anderson Park last night. We were threatened with arrest and someone's home that wasn't even part of the garden area got thrown into a garbage truck.
Endless cruelty when we could use our resources to support each other.
