Kep1er -- Xiaoting

Xiaoting is so pretty and such a good performer. I'm happy to see that she is not pulling one of those silly selfie faces here. The beads she is wearing around her midriff are a nice touch.

This picture was taken at the 2025 Seoul Waterbomb. That's not an event I would like to attend. This unwillingness does not stem from prudery, as I have absolutely no problem with Kwon Eunbi* or any other idol wearing, what are for Korea, daringly revealing outfits.

What deters me is the frat boy, wet t-shirt contest atmosphere that pervades the event. That's not an atmosphere I care for at all.

*I'm sure the publicity has been great for Kwon Eunbi sales. I hope, though, that the reputation of "Kwon Eunbi the Waterbomb Queen" does not overshadow her achievements as a performer or those of the creative talents behind her.

I love ARTMS.....but - or perhaps I should write "so" - I wish they had not taken part in Waterbomb.

This is not merely a question of my own dislike for the ripped jean look; Waterbomb does not suit and perhaps even undermines the image of the group conveyed in their videos.

I know they're idols and hence have to exploit available opportunities for earnings and publicity, but I would rather this festival were not one of those openings.

Please don't think my complaint stems from prudery on my part. I have no objection in principle to Waterbomb and am in fact delighted to see lots of idols cavorting around there.
I just don't think it's the right event for ARTMS.
