I’m not very good at the whole sitting around & waiting game. While waiting for the maintenance man I defrosted the container of stewed plums I cooked up last week boiled it up again, reduced it down some more & added some chia seed to really thicken it. It is now in a whole pile of small containers in the freezer except for the last little bit which is in the fridge for use tonight with yoghurt. The rest can be used the same way or a topping on my porridge, with plain ice cream or even as a jam. Then I put all the tomatoes I had frozen in a pot with onion, garlic, carrot & even some sweet potato & chilli - colour theme! This is to make my version of passata for spag bol, still have to blitz it add oregano or basil & it’s done.
The maintenance man came around lunchtime. Spent 20-30mins checking things & writing notes, asking questions etc.. After he left I quickly changed & was off to the pool for a much wanted swim & I had it to myself which was amazing - my pool 🏊🏼‍♀️ 😂. A man & two women turned up just as I was getting out. I’ve never had the pool to myself for that long before. Loved it. Mind you, I’m a little sun kissed now even after sun blocking. #Maintenance #WaitingGame #Food #Swimming #Exercise
