Pedal powered activation today (.. well and a bit electric as always, which wasn't bad as there were some crazy hills on the 30km trip).

I used max 10W to linked dipole without tuner. This might be a winner combo!

Spotline, WWFF's new Spots & Agenda service, is coming soon. It will replace the current WWFF Cluster and Agenda, with the plan being to have it up and running on June 1st, 2025.
Among other things, Spotline features a telnet server that mimics DXSpider. This means that you can connect to "Spotline" as a cluster node to receive WWFF spots into your favorite logging program.
Steps are also under way to integrate Spotline with HamAlert, PoLo, and Port-A-Log. Stay tuned! (original OH6KZP) #wwff

Last sunday I went to activate an ATNO WWFF ref in an island that was only accessible by own boat. It's a big island next to Tampere City and is very popular during summer time - boats leaving there each hour.

This time it was totally empty. I was the only person there. That was even bigger ATNO for me. Also never went there by paddling.

Water was +5C deg, sun was warming and the fauna was going nuts, birds singing so loud.

That was a very special activation trip.

Normally I strictly refrain from abusing the summit cross as a fixation for my #antenna mast. Another #WWFF activation today, OKFF-2319 (never activated before). Unfortunately I only had about 30 minutes of operating time because we still had 12 km of hiking to do to catch a train and we were a bit behind the schedule. The photo shows me throwing a wire into a tree. #hamradio
