I was just testing #aprs and #meshcore coverage of a close hill before lunch. Sadly, it is still too low for UHF to reach anywhere suitable.

And CQ #POTA once more today. While nature shows more blossoms I could work lots of portable stations for many programs: #SOTA, #WWFF, #COTA etc.
93 QSO in the end, mainly Europe and North America.

I worked a few #POTA / #WWFF stations and they were signing with 44. I'm probably the last to find out about it, but I just looked it up and now I wonder if we should make that a thing in the US as well. Maybe it already is and I just don't know about it. Entirely possible! 😄

This week I activated SOTA/GMA summit DM/NS-001 Wurmberg as well as POTA Park DE-0070 and WWFF DLFF-8805 Harz Nature Park and WWToTA DLR-0636 Wurmbergturm. It was a quiet crowded area on a sunny sunday, as the summit is accessible by a cable car and theres a lot of touristic activity for families and children. (You don't see that in the photo lol).

@kr1st I'm not even interested in the awards. I just want to combine two hobbies, #hamradio and the outdoors, and upload my logs mainly so others can get their awards. Hence it doesn't take a lot to make me no longer care (I stopped doing #WWFF because log management was so annoying), but in this case it's also a matter of principle.

Now portable season can start. Today I've tested my portable station setup. Works like a charm. FT-8 is a great mode to test a setup: all cables and all routing is tested.
