Here's how #government works today. #NationalWeatherService issued a public #WinterStormWatch. A private organization picks it up. They contract with #NewYorkState to send email alerts. I get the alert, as do local government managers, private sector folks with relevant interests and we all prep as needed. #NOAA #privatization breaks the anchor of the value chain.
