Valerie đžDay 72 of my #365Project. Snow day in the Seattle area. Woke up to a winter wonderland in Bothell, WA and immediately went outside to get some pics. Lovely fat flakes are still falling. My niece said it should stay in the mountains but I love this soft snow.

Angela Korra'tiIt's been snowing in the area since I got up at 6am this morning. This is big wet gloopy snow. It's not sticking to pavements in my neighborhood, but it _is_ sticking to local yards and roofs and trees... and it's the kind of snow that may bring down branches.
Coworker of mine also in the area reported over our team chat that he lost power. PSE already took a beating from the recent windstorm, they have a notice up saying they are still working on restoring power from _that_, so it sure sounds like this surprise snow event is going to impact their efforts.

Just saw somebody in a very late-model 2-door sporty coupe, maybe an Acura, maybe a BMW 7-series, drive out the dead end street right outside my office windows and turn right onto the road into town.
His entire right-side windows were entirely -- entirely -- covered with snow
Maybe an inch-plus on the roof
He's not going to be able to see *anything* off to the right side of him -- nothing -- no passenger-side mirror either
"I know it's snowing but I'm driving straight ahead and I know exactly where I'm going. Why would I need to see anything out to my right side?"
Good lord...
