It's been three years in the maing and since then, my projects with these have changed. I was aiming to do some #KillTeam at first, but now I am more likely to use them in #TrenchCrusade and #1490Doom ! It's less detailed than a #Victrix kit, but probably easier to paint. I might want to grab a couple of #AnvilIndustry bits for some conversions as well…

Working on the shields for my #Victrix #Viking #minis. I enjoy freehanding the designs; the flaws feel real and the practice is good. Of course, some of these are somewhat meme-y shields, but I think they're all _plausible_ Iron-age-Scandinavian designs, roughly.
Of all the #minis I’ve posted, this is the one I’m proudest of. Because I didn’t paint it: my wife did! She said it looked like fun and I should save one for her. She did a great job! So I’m proud because it represents an interest shared.
