Changing them is also not some black magic. An skilled, good, respectful mechanic can do it pretty quickly and won't charge you a bag of money for that. For example, I would take circa 80$ maximum for the whole job. 💋👍

Sadly in a lot of cases, these sellers ain't willing to ship internationally or would charge outrageous postage [i.e. $65 USPS courier mail for a single SFP+ module and it's not even like overnight shipping but takes 6-8 weeks (!!!) ]...
Cinebench scores aren't anything to write home about but I got ~10% higher scores without any thermal throttling after OC. Also ran stable after some stress testing with Prime95. Not bad for a used 9-year old CPU bought for around PhP3K.

The K in the 4770K means that the CPU is overclock-able so I made sure I partnered it with a Z97 motherboard.
Stock, the 4770K has a base clock of 3.5GHz with a boost up to 3.9GHz for 2 cores and 3.7GHz all cores.
Gave it a mild overclock this week and managed to run stable at 4.4GHz for 2 cores and 4.2GHz all cores.

Will still need to run some benchmarks but this should be able to handle most modern games at 1080p and emulate games up to the PS3 generation (especially if I overclock). Plus it has RGB so you know it can game. 😂
TOTAL COST OF PARTS: ~PhP 20K. If you choose a cheaper PSU, fans, and SSD, you can definitely make this build for less than 20K.

PSU: GIGABYTE P650B 650W 80+ Bronze (don't skimp on the power supply)
