Cinebench scores aren't anything to write home about but I got ~10% higher scores without any thermal throttling after OC. Also ran stable after some stress testing with Prime95. Not bad for a used 9-year old CPU bought for around PhP3K.

The K in the 4770K means that the CPU is overclock-able so I made sure I partnered it with a Z97 motherboard.
Stock, the 4770K has a base clock of 3.5GHz with a boost up to 3.9GHz for 2 cores and 3.7GHz all cores.
Gave it a mild overclock this week and managed to run stable at 4.4GHz for 2 cores and 4.2GHz all cores.

The 4.0GHz all core overclock on the i7 4770K is stable (as expected) even without tweaking the voltages. Let's do 4.2GHz with some tuning next. 😁
