Back up to my best deadlift weight after testing this morning! Still 126 days out so I’m thinking I’ll get a PR at my next meet!

If I had to choose one chained deadlift variation, it would be chained with a pause off the floor. My favorite.
I got a triple PR at 360 lbs / 163kg on the bar with a 56 lbs / 25 kg chain. That’s 80% of my comp deadlift max at the bottom and 93% at the top.

I pulled 97% of my last meet PR like it was 86% this morning according to the velocity tracker. I felt like I could have possibly gotten 4 more.

Something about pushing through volume sets really clears the cobwebs out, though, and now I feel ready to tackle the day!

I worked up to heavy singles at 412.5 lbs (187 kg) with 55 lbs (25 kg) of chains.
Slingshot bench is my absolute favorite variation. What fun it is to load up over 105% of your max weight!
This morning, I got 302.5 lbs (137.2 kg) for four medium singles. I can’t wait until I turn this into my raw bench PR!
