This Week in #Virology visited the U.S. Army Medical Research Institute of Infectious Disease at Fort Detrick, MD, on the anniversary of D-Day.

As a biological & chemical #weapons analyst, I visited #USAMRIID and took the entire tour, including the famous "Slammer." A very interesting facility contributing much to #vaccine science and other areas of medical research pertinent to #DOD #military #readiness.
