Il Tempo: Comunicato Stampa: Progetto ‘Musincanto', Borgia (FdI): “Nato in pandemia, ha trasformato l'isolamento in musica"

Erano presenti anche i consiglieri regionali Sonia Brescacin (Gruppo Misto), e Anna Leso (FdI).
Il progetto, nato nel 2021 durante il difficile periodo della pandemia, coinvolge una ventina di alunni dell'Istituto Comprensivo 1 ‘Federico Grava' di Conegliano, in provincia di Treviso, che dedicano il loro tempo extra-curricolare allo studio del canto corale.
Nel corso della conferenza stampa, sono stati eseguiti due brani: ‘Nel blu dipinto di blu', di Domenico Modugno, e ‘Fino all'alba' di Arisa, inno ufficiale delle Olimpiadi Milano Cortina 2026.

La professoressa Simonetta Mandis, responsabile del progetto, ha spiegato che “il nostro Coro è nato durante la pandemia, per offrire ai ragazzi un'esperienza extra scolastica. Accogliamo alunni provenienti da diverse classi delle scuole Medie; ci troviamo tutti i martedì pomeriggio, condividendo il pranzo e l'esperienza settimanale, per poi iniziare le nostre attività. Siamo presenti nel territorio partecipando a cerimonie istituzionali, in collaborazione con l'amministrazione comunale di Conegliano, toccando così con mano le realtà associative di volontariato e combattentistiche e di armi, nel segno dei valori legati all'educazione civica. La musica ci dà la possibilità di esprimere emozioni e di lanciare determinati messaggi, anche di valore sociale.”
Nicoletta Piccin, volontaria collaboratrice dell'Istituto, ha evidenziato che “il Coro regala significativi momenti di emozione e di formazione che accompagneranno i nostri ragazzi e le nostre ragazze durante le loro vite. Dobbiamo essere orgogliosi della nostra scuola e del nostro territorio, che accoglie a braccia aperte anche persone provenienti da lontano. Il coro è composto di una ventina di alunni delle scuole Medie, seguiti dalla professoressa Simonetta Mandis. Il nostro repertorio spazia dai grandi successi internazionali alle meravigliose canzoni italiane. Ricordo che il Coro ha partecipato a diversi concorsi e progetti, anche esterni alla scuola.”

Press Release: ‘Musincanto’ Project, Borgia (FdI): “Born in the pandemic, it transformed isolation into music”

The regional councilors Sonia Brescacin (Independent Group) and Anna Leso (FdI) were also present.
The project, born in 2021 during the difficult period of the pandemic, involves around twenty students from the “Federico Grava” Primary School in Conegliano, in the province of Treviso, who dedicate their extracurricular time to studying choral singing.
During the press conference, two pieces were performed: “Nel blu dipinto di blu” (Blue, The Colour of the Sea), by Domenico Modugno, and “Fino all'alba” (Until Dawn) by Arisa, the official anthem of the Milan-Cortina 2026 Olympics.

Professor Simonetta Mandis, project coordinator, explained that “Our choir was born during the pandemic to offer the children an extracurricular experience. We welcome students from various middle school classes; we all meet on Tuesdays in the afternoon, sharing lunch and the weekly experience, before starting our activities. We are present in the territory by participating in official ceremonies, in collaboration with the Conegliano municipal administration, thus getting to know volunteer and combatant associations, in the spirit of civic education values. Music gives us the opportunity to express emotions and to launch certain messages, even of social value.”
Nicoletta Piccin, a collaborating volunteer at the Institute, highlighted that “The choir gives significant moments of emotion and formation that will accompany our boys and girls throughout their lives. We must be proud of our school and our territory, which welcomes people from afar with open arms. The choir is made up of around twenty middle school students, followed by Professor Simonetta Mandis. Our repertoire ranges from international hits to wonderful Italian songs. I remember that the choir participated in several competitions and projects, even outside the school.”
