Decided to wax my car before it spends 5 months covered in frozen dirty brine, and it occurred to me that many people don't know this...

ICYMI, no live turtles are harmed when making Turtle Wax! That's an urban myth, sometimes spread by well-meaning animal-rights people. In fact, the discarded shells of turtles are collected during moulting season (late spring), and then processed for wax. So don't feel guilty!

Had a good car washing session, managed to polish the two front doors and two front wheel arches by hand, and is now 80%, but it looks really shiny. Love it.
Now, only the hood/bonnet and front bumper remains, then the whole car had two rounds of polish. After this I will probably attack the spots and panels with the most scrathes. Getting there. #TurtleWax #CarDetailing #Polish #Wax

If everything works out tomorrow I am actually very keen to wash my car and give it a nice polish.

Had a very productive day.

Washed my car, clay barred the paint, then polished it with Turtle Wax Ceramix Polish & Wax by hand! I also treated the Interior Plastics.
The whole process took 4 hours haha.

It was brutal, but I love detailing my car. I am not 100% happy, but made massive progress today. The car is closer to perfection.
Maybe one polish session left, then it'll be good enough. Then I can seal the paint with Turtle Wax's Hybrid Ceramic Spray wax. #CarDetailing #TurtleWax #Polish
