I wasn’t going to back the D&D Traveller project because I’m not particularly happy with the World’s Largest team and I like Mongoose even less, but $350 for four books is ridiculous.

If I wanted to run Traveller more like D&D I’d hack Nimble, but I prefer a Frankenstein made of Classic, T5, and Cepheus anyway.

Released v0.19.0 of Mongoose Traveller for FoundryVTT. It would have been 0.18.10, but I've noticed that Foundry sometimes has problems when switching to a double digit version component.

A few small updates:
* Option to display hex in world UWP dropdowns
* World trade codes can now be manually set
* World factions can now be hidden
* Added a 'Skill Request' macro.
* Improvements to Spanish translations.

Maybe I’m not as smart as I used to be.

On the Traveller discord someone was asking about converting a class of ship into GURPS Traveller. I found the class (Fiery) was first introduced in MT Journal #2.

It turns out I have never looked into the MT starship construction rules.

So I have no idea how to interpret a lot of the details or figure out what size fusion power plant it had. But I guess the output was 7740 Mw?

TL;DR: my write up of the Harrogate based convention which features boardgames and #ttrpgs - or as the convention describes it "an analogue gaming event". I ran two games of #Traveller, mainly to new players and folks who haven't played in years. Some mild musings on how Mongoose should really look at the demo approach Chaosium are using.
