Tom ๐จ๐ฆThis is very revealing. The OP on Instagram (TheTransitGuy) attributes this to a lack of in-house capacity here in North America. I would add that the costly line items shown within soft costs are likely the main causes of the outrageously long timelines for Metrolinx projects.

Bus Pass is pretty high on the birthday wish list, but I really don't want to have to spend two hours or more going in person to get one.

I am having such a Bad Transit Day. The 25C GO bus from campus was way over capacity and left behind like 20 people including me. Then I took the train instead, but took the local bus to get there, which was also packed. (Should have taken LRT). THEN the bus from Bramalea to the airport left early and the train arrived maybe a minute late. Argh! #TransitFail
