Trying to get to work this morning. Sundays suck.

My work bus comes every two hours. And Lyft is in surge pricing because of the rain. I hate Lyft. It's cost me so much money over the past four months. I just wish the bus would cooperate.

Anyone got an extra $30 for a Lyft ride to work this morning since the bus will make me an hour late? 😭

This is very revealing. The OP on Instagram (TheTransitGuy) attributes this to a lack of in-house capacity here in North America. I would add that the costly line items shown within soft costs are likely the main causes of the outrageously long timelines for Metrolinx projects.

Bus Pass is pretty high on the birthday wish list, but I really don't want to have to spend two hours or more going in person to get one.
