Lynn Conway was remarkable in a number of ways but I think the reason her death hits me so hard even though I didn’t know her personally is the most unremarkable thing about her: One of us got to live her life quietly, grow old, and be remembered fondly as herself in death.

I think that’s all I really want.

How you identify as a trans or nonbinary person does not matter as long as you consider yourself completed or near completion in your transition! This community exists because most online trans communities are overwhelmingly represented by people who are pre/early-transition.
