The word GeoKrety comes from Greek geo ('earth') and Polish krety ('moles')... So it's plural! One GeoKret, two GeoKrety! They pop up everywhere, sometimes in unexpected places... And they're just cute, of course.

We would like to welcome the latest Opencaching ally to the Fediverse: GeoKrety.org! @geokrety (https://mastodon.nl/@[email protected]). The team behind Opencaching.nl have long contributed to translating their website and have already created a number of GeoKrety themselves! 

GeoKrety are trackable items—books, coins, small toys or even pets and humans. Create one and you can see who found one and what places they've visited. You can also give them a mission, so if you have a small toy of a cook, you can ask people to take their picture with as many pies as possible before dropping them off in another cache!
