Da_GutOh wow. Tomorrow will be the two year anniversary of my releasing a travel bug in Maine, about Roller Derby. It’s based on a keychain we purchased to support one of the small Maine roller derby leagues. It made it to Australia sometime ago. But it looks like it’s going to fail (technically) on the last leg to Adelaide.

Use a GPS-enabled device to navigate to the provided coordinates. Look for a large hidden container. When you find it, write your name and date in the logbook. If you take something from the container, leave something in exchange. The terrain is 1.5 and difficulty is 1.5 (out of 5).
Just found my 100th #geocache :) Had the family, my wife and my youngest kids with me. I like #geocaching since it gets me out of the house, I find places I otherwise wouldn't, and the kids love finding hidden #treasure.
Also a way to get some #exercise.

Ein Geocache in der Wüste von Kuwait, der Platz heißt (oder hieß, der Cache ist mittlerweile archiviert) "Windy Rocks". Das Foto ist beim zweiten Versuch in der Nacht entstanden, die Temperaturen waren heiß aber erträglich. Beim ersten Versuch, einige Monate vorher, haben drei große Flaschen Wasser für 20 Minuten beinahe nicht gereicht ... so heiß ist es dort.

On my work trip to SoCal I was able to acquire four more 4-character QTH grid squares for #geocache finds, bringing my total to 130 and connecting the cluster including Los Angeles to the cluster including Seattle.
I have 3058 total finds, 65 in California.
